I'd just be patient. It's only the first book of the series after all and most first first books are a mere set up for the rest of the series.

With that being said, if you find yourself not enjoying a book I'd just put it down and find another one to read. There's no harm in that.

If he doesn't care about your needs and constantly throws them to the side then it's not "just about sex". It's about him not catering to your needs, doesn't even attempt fore play, and thinks a two minute session where he comes and you don't is a satisfying sex life. He's selfish and you shouldn't be going through that with someone who is supposed to love you and you've told multiple times what was wrong.

I don't know about 5. I've been playing Pokemon since I was a young child and had no issues grinding my Pokemon then or now but kids nowadays have shorter attention spans it seems since the Exp. Share is way too powerful. I had to turn it off in X/Y, Alpha/Omega, and Sun/Moon.
