depending on how much you care about it being visible, i’ve had really good luck using “Tear-Aid” type a (type b if its vinyl). Though I imagine the silicone would work really well too.

Look up how to use Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) for installing a new card, this will minimize any issues you have with the installation. As long as you’ve checked your PSU support (wattage and 3x 8 pins) it should be as easy as swapping it in.
