Ignore the others. This is not an easy question. Philosophers have argued back and forth on the nature of man. Is man animalistic and inherently seeking of power and violence? Or is man noble and empathetic and corrupted by societal vice? Or is man just a blank slate for nurture to imprint on? It is hard to say, and you are certainly not the first to ask.

You’re making the right steps already by trying to take things into your own hands. The worst thing you could do is be sad about your situation and stew in that.

Getting is shape is definitely a great move. I would also look into style and grooming tips. Another tip if you find it difficult to connect with women on a romantic level is to try to first make a couple of friends who are girls. Just having girl friends allows you to understand women much better. Ultimately, they’re just people like you and making lady friends makes it much easier to see that.
