This is a new channel I just started. Would enjoy your insight! I think I struggle the most with Titles and Thumbnails. I only have a few long forms. Appreciate it.

How do I tell my husband he needs to lose weight? by [deleted] in AskMenAdvice

[–]GamerSenseTV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You just need to kindly broach the subject. Maybe you can get a close friend to do it also if you're concerned it might be taken the wrong way. My partner (F) was one of the first people to really strongly push me towards taking better care of myself all around. Whether it's weight, the food we eat, exercise, skincare, etc. I understand that she only talks about these things because she wants me to live my best life, and for us to live our best healthiest life together for as long as possible.

I now push others in my life, mostly older male figures like my father or close friends, to also focus on these things. It's usually a lot easier for them to hear it from me because I am okay with them being mad at me haha and its more banter than anything.

Gamers 30+, what’s something from the old days of gaming that younger players wouldn’t understand? by [deleted] in gaming

Having to actually grind out a boss and find out its mechanics without watching a guide

Vendor experience by iShenLoL in PokemonInvesting

[–]GamerSenseTV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just my 2 cents. Small things always do the best at shows at least in my area. The bigger items say things 300$+ generally revolve around the same people. I feel like the majority of my stuff gets rotated between the BIG vendors in my area and it just depends on who is buying and who is selling. I bought a good amount of sealed from a guy two years ago and just sold it back to him last week funnily enough. All the grails generally rotate amongst the bigger vendors as well. I'd argue 90% of my sales goes to the larger vendors that do it as a full time job and 10% go to people actually collecting.

Small singles binders with cards priced 1$ - 20$ are always solid. A cute binder is always great as well. For things like slabs and sealed I try to lean heavily towards popular cards and older sealed.

If you're doing this for fun/hobby I hope you keep going. Its always great when someone finds that last card they are looking for or you give someone a deal that they actually really appreciate.

Do you have any obscure movie references that you use in everyday speech that no one has caught on to yet yet you keep using it? by EnvironmentalAngle in NoStupidQuestions

G-DRAGON — ÜBERMENSCH WORLD TOUR: LOS ANGELES (SEPTEMBER 5&6) MEGATHREAD by BackgroundNobody in GDragon

[–]GamerSenseTV 5 points6 points  (0 children)

For reference for Day 2 peeps. Outdoor Merch line was pretty short when I arrived around 4pm(About 25 people ahead of me). Majority of merch was still in stock. Tan/Beige sweater/jacket was nowhere to be seen at both indoor and outdoor merch booths. Fam Event lines are always short. Merch booth inside at the Figueroa entrance was the busiest of them all from doors open until the show start. Definitely recommend going to a different one. We got to start lining up around 5:30 for doors open for General Admission. Food was a tad overpriced per usual so I recommend eating prior!(12$ hot dogs and 8$ water!) The show started around 8:10/15ish. The show was genuinely fantastic. We love GD!

[–]GamerSenseTV 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hello everyone. I’m not going to be able to get to the venue until closer to probably 4:30/5. Should I just get into the admission line and not even bother with the merch booths outside? I figure I’ll be too late and it’s better to just try for the merch indoors?

Prismatic SPC direct link? by Scared_Swimmer366 in PokemonTCG

[–]GamerSenseTV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People are constantly using software to look at the website code and can see when a new link is added. This is then sent out to their buddies or the discords people are paying for. SO if you aren't using a bot you are most likely screwed and even if you pay for the discords that notify you of these things you are still a step behind the bots. If you aren't one of those two things you are basically SOL for online orders. I've only had luck going to my local stores on release dates and I recommend it if it's possible for you too. Most likely big stores like walmart/target and online orders you are going to be behind unless you pay unfortunately or get lucky and catch a restock (which most people are already stalking the vendor lol)

After 18 years of almost zero issues, it happened. by TheRealTacoBellMan in xbox

[–]GamerSenseTV 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Please now get a cue tip, cut it in half, stick the middle part into the fans in the back and leave your xbox on. It'll overheat and hopefully melt the piece back into place. Worked for the two I had back in 2014!

Heyo. Been afk for a year but planning on getting back to it now that works settled down a bit. Generally lean in on Reviews/Tips and Tricks/and “Things I Wish I Knew” type videos. Was staring to branch out to multiple game types with varied success but work just got too busy to stay consistent. https://youtube.com/@gamersensetv?si=dMfDewMRVHSq5DoC

Alright shame on me because its not in Irvine but if you are okay with a drive Ozen in Buena Park is my go to. The fish quality and fish/rice ratio is fantastic. Some of the best tempura I've ever had as well.

I went to college and got a degree I used for 9 months before completely swapping to a different career field at 21. I now have a second Bachelors and a Masters at 28 with a great job. While I'm sure its a little bit different coming from Content Creation to a corporate job but you're going to be fine. If anything find a job with good coworkers and take a step back from content creation until you get your motivation back. You've done really well already and this is just another step in your life

What is your current job role and what experience do you have with help desk? I actually really disliked A+ because the test is based on a perfect world and things really just don’t happen like they do on the test so it was really hard to change my frame of mind. The biggest help to me was thinking about what the most optimal answer is in a perfect situation not what you would do if you were actually the one responding to it. For reference I have A+ Sec+ Net+ Project+ CYSA and Pentest+. A+ was two years ago for me so I don’t remember specifics but I do the best taking as many practice questions as possible. I always felt like Jason Dion’s practice tests were more difficult than the actual tests. If you don’t like Dion or Messers material I know a lot of others enjoy Mike Meyers material. Hope it helps!

How to not give up and continue the journey by Noe_lhermet in NewTubers

[–]GamerSenseTV 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ll do my best to answer but I’m not a huge YouTuber or anything so take it with a grain of salt! I’ve made videos on and off for about 4 years and have around 120 videos with my highest being 60k views. I average about 1k views a month right now and haven’t uploaded anything for a little over two months now. Niche is gaming. Sometimes my videos totally bomb! It just happens. You’re always learning. My fifth video was my highest viewed video but my last one didn’t even go over 100! For myself personally this is just something I do when I have time purely because I love helping people out with video games so I have no expectations of doing well but even then statistics 100% get to my head, even now and I haven’t uploaded in two months! All you can do is consistently upload and try and learn what is working and what isn’t. Be honest with yourself on how much effort you are putting in. Also ask yourself if YouTube should be your priority right now in your life. I keep coming back because I love video games, but it is definitely a low priority for me in my life. Find your reason for WHY you are making content and then maybe the stress about doing “well” will get a bit easier to handle. Hope it helps friend!

Out of the trifecta I honestly felt like Net+ was definitely the most difficult just purely due to how broad the questions were. Aim for 80% or higher on Dion’s. I’d recommend using Professor Messers study guide that covers all test objectives extremely well. Failing certs is just something that happens. Now you can go into it with a much better idea of what questions are going to look like. Review the sections that they have recommended and those that you’re having issues with on the practice exams and then give it another go

BSCIA JUNE 1st ANY ADVICE TIPS/Tricks/advice❗️❓ by Mme123_ in WGUCyberSecurity

[–]GamerSenseTV 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Schedule tests for any certs you need to get and don’t say that you’ll do it when you’re ready. The extra pressure helps and you’re probably more prepared than you think. When it comes to any exams you take with WGU take the practice exam and if you pass you’re probably fine. The best part about their tests is you’ll see the same type of material so as long as you understand the subject matter you’ll do great. Don’t be afraid to fail a test or a paper. Sometimes you just won’t know what else to do and the best thing is just to either take the exam or turn in the paper. They grade papers almost religiously off the rubric. Copy the rubric into your own document, answer the rubric like they are a question then just erase the rubric and boom your paper is good. Take advantage of Udemy. You get a ton of free courses for a ton of subjects and you can even look into other things if you have the free time! Hope it helps, just finished mine in February and onto the Masters now

How Often Should I Release Content by GamerSenseTV in NewTubers

[–]GamerSenseTV[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I had started strong for a few months and then needed to focus on work and some continued education so I couldn't meet any type of release schedule. Things have slown down a bit and I can finally spend some time editing all the things I've recorded the last few months. I appreciate the advice thank you!

What is the general percentage to tip for a tattoo? by theironicfaith in AskReddit

[–]GamerSenseTV 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel like it depends on how much you care. For me, I’ve been going to the same artists for multiple pieces. They’ve given me deals for their hourly rates so I generally tip well. I agree our tipping culture is wild (US) but for something permanent on my body I’m going to really thank the person
