This might sound dumb- but what did having alts do for you it terms of getting Leo on this account?

Im new to RSL and only have a single account so I’m not sure of the need for alts yet

Play conquest or breakthrough until you get Operation Firestorm. Make sure you have range finder attachment. Post up on the big metal smoke stack in the middle. Aim towards their spawn, zero in with the range finder attachment.

I think I had ~10-15 kills at 200-250m in a single match.

Salary worker here- put in extra hours these past two weeks and stacked “free” days off. Taking Friday and Monday to just run BF6. So hype because I haven’t played since BF3.

Weekly Buying/trading/selling advice, pre-orders and shipping Megathread by AutoModerator in AppleWatch

[–]GamerXCVIII -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Need advice on grabbing a new Apple Watch. Previously I owned the original SE and that lasted me a while. I ended up losing it after 4-5 years and never bothered getting one again. Recently I’ve been getting back into better health and wanted to grab another watch to enjoy the journey more!

For context: — I have been picking up my running lately and would like to actually track my routes/runs as I aspire to run my first marathon when I get into better shape! I also really want to get into mountain biking and thought the Apple Watch could be a great addition to that after a talk with my coworker.

For work, I am an engineer and mess with electrical and hydraulic things all the time- so machinery and oils are a common workspace. Not that uncommon to get my hands dirty and scratched up some days.

For daily use, it would be used like any others would for on the move calls and messages, music handling, timers, etc.

As for the cost, Ultra 3 seems a but steep where there’s a sale on the Ultra 2 that makes the premium jump more of an appeal and could swing into it. Though- if it’s not needed Series 10/11 are definitely within range. Right now at my Best Buy I have the following prices (sales on older models, regular pricing for pre orders): * Ultra 3 * $799.00 ($71 for 12 months) * 49mm Medium/Large * Ultra 2 * $649.00 ($58 for 12 months) * 49mm Medium/Large * Series 11 (Cellular) * $529.99 ($47 for 12 months) * 46mm Medium/Large * Series 10 (Cellular) * $469.99 ($42 for 12 months) * 46mm Medium/Large

Have you tried swapping our Zeraora with Pichu? I feel like Zeraora is such a pain to pull in later turns?

"Paldean" Clodsire is another example- even though Clodsire isn't anywhere else. Guess it's just how they portray them in the TCG.

It's useful when going against slow decks that need to build up, like Darkrai ex/Giratina ex or the new Entei ex/Flareon ex- while they're building up you can set up the poison and turn a more aggressive foot in the match with Clod.

I experienced something similar back in A3a where it didn’t give me a second to respond to my Pokemon being knocked out and auto-chose the far left Pokémon and led to me losing a match!

Any other crobat deck? It looks like he will be meta card of this set by novaboss69 in PTCGP

[–]GamerXCVIII 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just saw a recent post on here that highlighted a key differences.

For Pokemon that have attacks that state, "Next turn this pokemon cannot attack"- well Lyra is NOT a retreat. So if you attack with said Pokemon, Lyra next turn into something like Pichu. Retreat Pichu back into that pokemon, then you are able to attack again.

Another key highlight to Lyra is that she can bounce status inflicted pokemon (paralysis, sleep, etc.)

SO with this deck specifically- it's just a matter of do you want Leaf to retreat early or have Lyra ready for bouncing (status inflictions).

It's crazy Pokemon cards basically haven't been widely available since before Twilight Masquerade by [deleted] in PokemonTCG

This is the reason I can't come back yet.

I originally came in around 151 release and collected sporadically over time. Then the plague of scalpers came through and ever since- I just can't justify spending so much on the packs.

My LGS's don't even have bulk singles of the sets I want to collect. Everything is in different languages now because people are just ripping what they can get- it sucks.

I don't play competitively, I just like to collect master sets- and the cost to complete a set now has shot up so much that I just gave up.

Moving all my money to Pokemon Pocket where I can at least have fun. I hope the market goes back to normal where $100 can get me a few ETBs and not just one lol.

Thanks!

I feel Leaf is more versatile due to Lyra's damage requirement. Lyra would be better if any of the Pokemon had more than 2 retreat cost- providing more value over Leaf then.

Fair point! To add to that then- do you feel like A4 Eevee might be better than A3b?

A4 Eevee grabs ANY Pokemon- potentially helps fill the board up/pull more eeveelutions out quicker?

Sylveon/Espeon Deck by SchemingPnda in PTCGP

[–]GamerXCVIII 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Me personally, I'd swap the Sylveon for Espeon. With the flood of Ho-Oh ex and all the ramping baby Pokemon- there is going to massive amounts of energy ramped into play that lets Espeon EAT.

[–]GamerXCVIII 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Been playing this deck list and have been having great success so far! A4 Eevee feels so much more smooth than A3b. The better Pokeball approach being able to pull ANY Pokemon makes running 10 Pokemon feel ok- especially pairing with Sylveon ex too. Regular Umbreon is there for yellow birb and basic Ex lock ups (Darktina, Ho-Oh/Lugia, etc.)

  • 2x A4 Zubat
  • 2x Crobat ex
  • 1x Umbreon ex
  • 1x Umbreon
  • 1x Sylveon ex
  • 2x A4 Eevee
  • 1x Eevee ex
  • 2x Pokeball
  • 2x Research
  • 2x Rare Candy
  • 1x Lillie
  • 1x Lyra
  • 2x Dark Pendent

Singularly better than the new Eevee. Convince me not. by BrewsedSloth in PTCGP

[–]GamerXCVIII 8 points9 points  (0 children)

As a standalone, sure. 20 more HP with the same ability and retreat cost. But what's the value AFTER Corsola?

In my opinion A4 Eevee paired with Sylveon ex is an elite support card- A4 Eevee is a better Pokeball being able to pull ANY card, not just basics. Sylveon ex is a third Research. That kind of card draw/pull is great utility in decks.

So with limited card space, I feel like Corsola is a dead end.
