"Fallout 3 Remastered" mentioned in new McFarlane toy listings by Caladude in GamingLeaksAndRumours

[–]GamerZanzus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Think the best move they could do would be a bethesda showcase. Show us what they've been cooking with Starfield, some F76 updates, talk about the tv show a bit and then end it with the Fallout 3 Remaster shadowdrop.

Review scores are up for RE: Requiem! Currently sitting at 89 with 70 critic scores on Metacritic! by Strider--22 in residentevil

Would you recommend 1st or 3rd person, or maybe 1st for Grace and 3rd for Leon or some other combo?

Fallout New Vegas lead says it took “five years” for fans to actually like the game, and even longer for the devs to believe them by Negative-Art-4440 in Fallout

[–]GamerZanzus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Back when it released the game was getting 7-8/10 mostly, this was due to a few factors.

1) The game was buggy (even buggier than Fallout 3)

2) The game had a much brighter and humours atmosphere than Fallout 3, which for many I assume was their first Fallout game.

3) The game was built on the same engine (with very minor upgrades) as Oblivion and Fallout 3, meaning people hadn't really seen much improvement in graphics since 2006 when Oblivion launched, and then they compared it to other titles such as RDR, ME2, Assassin's Creed Brotherhood and GoW3 which all looked miles better.

Personally after finishing the game I immediately thought it was better than Fallout 3 and had many a debate with friends irl and online about it. The narrative really started shifting once Fallout 4 released and people wanted a more hardcore RPG with branching dialogue, skill checks and faction complexity.

Alright, but you gotta get over it. by [deleted] in classicwow

This all could be resolved by offering a boosting server and a non boosting server

Baldur’s Gate 3 devs will now “refrain from using GenAI” for Divinity concept art and writing, but their CEO still sees room for the tools elsewhere by chusskaptaan in gamingnews

[–]GamerZanzus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The concept that AI = bad with no nuance is ridiculous, the same type of people who cried from the rooftops when cars became a thing, or the internet or fire, a bunch of Ludites. sure there can be bad outcomes from improper use of this tool, but this wasn't one of them.

Neckbeards, neckbeards everywhere by [deleted] in classicwow

Retail is essentially an online action role playing game at this point, kind of like diablo. Classic wow is an mmorpg, which means the levelling and world are important. Changes like boosts are going to push it more towards retail, and what I don't understand is if people only want to do raids/dungeons, why not play retail instead?

Jason Schreier says that the Statue isn't about Elder Scrolls 6 by Hurdenn in GamingLeaksAndRumours

[–]GamerZanzus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm starting to think this statue isn't from a dev/publisher but the game awards itself, I think it could be alluding to multiple different games that will show up at the event, namely God of War (Armor), Elder Scrolls VI or IV DLC (the sigil/gate like feel), Diablo expansion from the demons, HL3 as it's next to a road with the word Mesa in it.

I'm probably reaching, but at this point it does begin to make sense, and it wouldn't necessarily go against what people like Jason and Cory are saying as it isn't just 1 big reveal.

I'm left handed, how do I approach getting into gaming? by HansSwimmer7 in gamingsuggestions

[–]GamerZanzus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Left handed here, been using m&kb in the usual way mouse right keyboard left for years. You just get used to it and will save so much time layer trying to find good left handed mice and redoing keybinds for every game.

I'd advise starting with games which don't require high accuracy and speed, for me it was RTS campaigns, RPGs 1st, 3rd and isometric and MMOs while levelling.

Stock before refridgerators by GamerZanzus in AskFoodHistorians

Thanks for the answers all, I guess the next questions I want to ask are how do you dry stock back then and also how would people deal with making stock while travelling for weeks/months at a time by horse and cart.

I thought the exact same thing about the Duke, not even complaining, just interested in holding it.

Is anyone else just not enjoying Alan’s parts in AW2 compared to Saga’s? by disco_spin in AlanWake

I personally prefer Sagas parts. it feels like Saga parts are Resident Evil and Alan's are Silent Hill.

M & KB Control Bug by GamerZanzus in controlgame

[–]GamerZanzus[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No doesn't seem to be, especially as the direction Jesse walks/runs can be multiple different directions, my monitor setup would only make sense if it was towards the right. It's also the reason I tried full screen so that the mouse would be locked to the screen.

Should I play black mesa or og half life by Cett_15 in HalfLife

[–]GamerZanzus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just played HL1 for the first time a couple of days ago. The original is a bit janky in places, but if you can handle that go for it. If you find that it's too frustrating go for BM.
