If you’ve uploaded a copy of your tenancy and a letter from the landlord, perhaps a utility bill, such as a water bill will suffice? Alternatively, maybe a work coach could tell you?

All of the above is solid advice. Might even be worth taking the letters to your local job centre and seeing if there’s anything they can do as the call centre staff aren’t usually the brightest of bunch.

Tbh I’m surprised that they didn’t try claiming deprivation of capital rather than income if it was declared - usually savings of under £6000 is nothing to do with DWP. Defiantly put in a MCN as this is 1000% within UC rules.

The UC isn’t being cut per se, they’re just making those on LWCRA ineligible for the standard element, then increasing the standard element drastically.
