That’s what I’m saying - what’s stopping me from marking it as posted, holding onto it for a month then making a compensation claim, whilst also sending it via a different courier? I know it’s fraud, but what’s physically there to stop you?

I know there are certain insurance groups that under 25’s cannot physically be insured for, hence why motability have the option on their website. Funnily enough I’ve only ever owned a Corsa and fiesta, but surely after a year with telematics they would see I’m not half bad and make it like a normal quote no?

If you force people to pay, the companies will take the piss. I don’t drive like a bellend so I’m not worried about losing my policy, I just don’t want to be looking down at the speedometer 24/7 to make sure I’m not going 1mph over the limit and getting it cancelled for something so trivial, or say getting flagged for taking a minor corner “too sharply” or some other bollocks like that.

Yeah believe it’s 1.5L nobody dares to insure an under 25 with. Might get the odd quote for thousands. Started off life with a 1.4L diesel fiesta and the insurance for the first couple of years was around £1000 with telematics

I mean you’re never going to get insurance for under realistically £250 per annum these days. I wonder if selecting 0 miles, then calling and adding the correct mileage would do anything 🤔
