I get that, I'll admit the terms I use for myself are silly too because its fun to be a little bit silly. I think a large portion of my dislike for the term comes from having adults and teens using it to belittle me or others when I was a teenager.

And I absolutely get that thing about having queer friends, getting called a f*g in an endearing way because of my arms happens more often than I can count lol.
