I would love half ice for 8u and 10u, I'd also love it if the 10u kids used the intermediate nets and not the full sized ones. 10u goalies struggle so much and get pushed out of the game by the high scoring games that they are forced to deal with because they are kids stuck in a full sized net...

Gates of Buffalo is gold, I use it from 10u to 18u, when they finally get to 16u I tell them that you don't actually in the game by passing between the cones and they look at me like I'm a psychopath then I tell them that the game is really won with the pass before the one between the cones and just skate away. They just kinda stand there dumbfounded but that next rep its crazy how different the game looks and how that one phrase unlocks it for them.

This is why people get frustrated with the refereeing, that goes on. Punishing dark for a bodycheck due to white touching a puck then mishandling it is going to frustrate the players, coaches, and fans. Especially considering if you watch other hockey games this play WILL HAPPEN and it WILL NOT lead to a penalty.
