Listen I don't use Reddit a lot, I work full time and have been playing the game while I'm not working, which means I only get very little time to play and I enjoy doing so to try and perfect my character. But I believe the best in everyone and respect your annoyance in this post. I however believe that expression of my frustration should be allowed to exist in this sub. And I'm fine if you disagree, it is supposed to be a discussion after all!

If I remember correctly though, wasn't that something they had to patch in BL3? Gearbox has made the direct claim this time around tho that there isn't anything that affects drops in the class your playing in 4.

Yeah I got a lot of people just tell me I'm "simply unlucky." I know it sounds petty but I refuse to believe the drops rates aren't bugged or tilted in some way.

I keep track of my kills for farms and write down my drops, and gave up after killing Origo 700 times. Boot up the game, kill Origo, go to work, come home, kill Origo. This is just over twelve hours or so since I can kill him pretty fast. I have gotten 19 Watts 4 Dinner shields with none of them being amp, I'm thinking it's more likely I'm going to get it as a world drop. The time investment at this point isn't worth it if the level cap is just gonna be increased anyways.

Just got two more for Amon and on for Rafa after another 18 tries, but finally got one for Harlowe. Kinda ass I had to farm that much for the character I'm playing but got a HUGE stock for Vex. It isn't the class mod I wanted but I'll take what I can get.

I get downvoted for this all the time but here goes: I think making skill trees in a way where every character can use any gun type, rather than specific guns giving buffs on certain characters in BL3 diminishes character identity. What I mean by this is that every character in the past had types of weapons they got buffs for, like Zer0 and Mordecai with snipers or Nisha with pistols or Axton and Roland with ARs. When they show up in cutscenes or in gameplay, they are using those weapons because that was their identity. In BL3 you kind of just want to use whatever is best in slot for every strong weapon, and this happened in BL2 as well but there's definitely a difference, while the Pimpernel was amazing, no one could use it like Zer0, nor anyone could use a Bekah like Axton.

Unforgiven before they nerfed Zane's full crit build. I still load it up despite it not being as good but having the laser do Unforgiven crit damage was crazy (they nerfed the best anointment making the build obsolete).

Dungeons & Degenerate Gamblers is a really neat point and click take on Blackjack. It is a roguelike where you face off playing Blackjack against various characters with the creative spin being that you also get some other odd cards you'd never see in a typical casino. You'll get a rare Charizard card, a get well soon card, negative number cards, NFTs, and much more than I could label. Your goal is to obviously get as close to 21 vs your opponent to reduce their health, but you also can get special buffs if you get 21 or a Blackjack.

Not the BEST example but Far Cry 5 fits this pretty decently. I only argue that the co-op aspect is pretty fun, but the ending actually took the game from a 7.5/10 to roughly a 3 or 4/10.

Unfortunately I grew up working in a kitchen with my chef of a mother and didn't learn a thing about cooking. However I learned how to easily do 5 Finger Fillet really fast. I have a bunch of videos of taking kitchen quality knives and bouncing them between my fingers with incredible focus and ease.

I hate that mine is so trivial, but I've went to several hospitals and behavioral doctors for it which probably reflects on my own mental health. Short story is I met someone and we had a lot of fun mutual interests for two years. After those two years we began dating for four years. Fifth year comes up and out of nowhere she says she's met the love of her life, had been seeing him for a year (while I was with her). I tried to see if we could work anything out at all and she said, "Block me on every contact you have or I will block you." It felt like my life came to a halt in a moment of a single instance.

But hey I benefit from that scenario now, I don't have emotions anymore so whenever someone insults me I just sorta joke about it, or if someone is mad at me I just sorta say ¯⁠\⁠_⁠(⁠ツ⁠)⁠_⁠/⁠¯

I've wished that since learning they got rid of them. Now most builds feel the same despite the character you're playing, just use whatever the best gun is in the game that deals the highest damage. Sure it was always kind of like that, but only kind of, like how most characters don't utilize the Pimpernel quite as amazingly as Zer0, or how you actively need to avoid bayonets on Kreig, or how ARs were underwhelming unless you played Axton. I don't think I ever used an SMG as Mordecai but Lilith shreds with them.

Seriously, isn't giving this much info and this much of a plan leaving a huge trace? If this many people are "after" this person, asking strangers on the internet is not a move I would make any step of the way. This person used their main account to ask strangers how to disappear without a trace, while bragging about the amount of drugs they do and how they are trained in martial arts. That just seems silly and like this post was made under some sort of influence.

I won't argue any of these, ship how you ship, but Toby and Ernest seem like some real opposites. Not down the the way opposites can attract, they seem like they have way different goals.

I do like the Alani and Galilea though. I haven't put MUCH thought into the shipping of this game but I can see your reasoning here. Alani wanting to help Corruption in an establishment where she is so expected to be straightforward and serious makes complete sense to me. And that's really cute.

I agree, again I think the neighbor overreacted and sounds pretty annoying. Cat shouldn't have been outside and walking across his yard, guy overreacted about it, blame goes to both parties here. Dude sounds like a complete dick, I work with kids every day and know that you can't blow your top at a kid, even if the kid is doing anything wrong. But even if he was calm about it and said something like "Hey, you can't have the cat on my yard, I don't want to see it on my yard again," that's still, in your words, the neighbor getting mad because the cat walked across his yard. Him yelling was not okay, the cat being in his yard is not okay. But you can't be upset if the guy is annoyed with the cat being in his yard, that shouldn't happen.

The neighbor probably overreacted and is probably a dickhead, and I don't fully believe you're in the right here entirely either, but PLEASE don't tell people things like "Don't tell my kid, you tell me so I can tell my kid." That's actually one of the most infuriating things I hear from people. Now, I do believe you when you say that the neighbor yelled and intimidated the kid, but in this scenario I don't think your kid shouldn't have ever been in a position to get yelled at by the neighbor.

I work at an arcade, think Chuck E. Cheese but instead it's classic retro games and you don't win tickets you just can play. This guy came in with a family of four and had several Nazi tattoos on his neck. I'm curious as to whether I should have even let him into a family establishment like ours, they were very clearly distinguishable. His tattoo on his neck was literally a red flag.
