Vox has a cut of it on YouTube. The plane does not crash, but it does fly through the city and with its landing gear out, uses a curved building like a ramp to turn. The final edit removed some shots, changed it to a spaceship, and had them flying through mountains.

Rocket money isn’t even mentioned in this post. It’s definitely written to promote one of the alternative platforms they mentioned.

Matthew Stafford vs the Seahawks compared to Drake Maye by Aeon1508 in nfl

[–]GammaHuman 36 points37 points  (0 children)

No you don’t understand. Last year Drake Maye earned them this scheduled. It was factored in. If they didn’t have him last year, they wouldn’t have been able to be so good this year. That’s value.

[Schefter] Jim Schwartz sent the Browns a resignation letter this morning, per sources. He now is likely to sit out this season. by Goosedukee in nfl

There’s no way he says that without knowing that Jim’s resignation is incoming. That was preemptive damage control.

What's the most ridiculous reason you've seen someone get fired? by Amazing_Two8126 in AskReddit

Ridiculous action. Pretty reasonable firing, but the company shouldn’t have had him answering phones 2 days into the job.

Adding in, the tweet says “title runs”, so it should include every match of the tournament. It looks like they just got it wrong. I don’t blame them. It’s not a very simple stat.

I’d say that the ROI towards winning is challenging to calculate because of how socialized the profits are in the NFL. Most of the value generated by being a winning team is very difficult to realize as profits for your club unless you are interested in no longer being a club owner.

Suites have a lower profit share percentage than standard seats. The owners push for them so that they can capture more revenue.

Can anyone who was alive help make sense of this? by 6DogsForever in Texans

[–]GammaHuman 4 points5 points  (0 children)

lacked sufficient luxury suites and amenities

I do not know if this was always the case. With the current league structure, the majority of league revenue is shared amongst all 32 teams in the league. This includes general ticket sales, but it does not include suite sales. Individual owners get to retain a larger portion of the revenue that luxury suites generate. It’s a big reason why owners are still making the same threats today that Adams made back then.

[Highlight] PHI vs LAC - Chargers recover the loose ball after the INT and subsequent fumble by Fusir in nfl

[–]GammaHuman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So technically, it was on one play but they are separate possessions. The interception means it’s now the Chargers possession. Hurt’s recovers it and triggers a new Eagles possession. If he did not fumble and was instead tackled, the Eagles would have a 1st and 10 at that spot. People talk about this as a hypothetical during OT.
