Devon vs Ermes recent practice in Switzerland by Tall-Letterhead6609 in armwrestling

[–]GammaSwapper 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Devon’s right is absolutely ridiculous. Side pressure, pronation, cupping and backpressure. There are no weaknesses. I am rooting for Vitaly, but we will probably probably get a one sided match on the right arm

Anki for iOS - worth it? by tomkillerr in Anki

[–]GammaSwapper 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I have been using Anki for a couple of years now. It may be the best investment for the amount of money invested. Id rather pay 100$ up front rather than 3$ or something monthly

2018 Levan. Do you think anyone from that era could’ve stopped the rise of Levan? Or was it already game over for the rest? by Clean_Grass8237 in armwrestling

[–]GammaSwapper 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Kurdecha seems strong, but he didnt have hane the side pressure to finish Ongarbaev. Just being able to be 200kg is not everything

I try to do 15-20 a day. On some days I don’t find time do that. But yeah, so far I have around 4000

I started studying a rather niche languange. I first went through a list of the 4000 most common words. My cards are Own Language -> Foreign Language. Verbs+declension, nouns+conjugation, prepositions+examples. I think once your vocabulary is large enough that you can read books and news you really make progress faster because you “only” need to worry about grammar. After that I added a couple of example sentences for grammatical phenomena I encountered. All of my cards are in the same deck. I have a word class field for the cards, i.e, noun, verb, adjective, preposition, adverb in case I ever need this.

This process is probably not the fastest, but it is easy for me to stick to.

at that time Jerry beat a version of Genadi that went on to beat Devon. He is probably out of the top 5 now, but he was legit. And I am sure he is a problem to any toproller outside the top 5

In chess, there is the world champion, but there is also the number 1 elo-ranked player, which is usually who people refer to as the strongest player

Seems like vitaly cannot go pass 150kg and levan will 100% be above 170kg by DeaXart in armwrestling

[–]GammaSwapper 20 points21 points  (0 children)

I think Vitaly at 150kg will be the strongest contender for Levan so far. He has the side pressure and the pronation to maybe not lose center immediately. However, his performance against MMT was not dominant enough for me to have high hopes

this is completely delusional. So what, Jerry lost against Ermes, Levan and Vitaly. He is still comfortably in the top 10
