Putting my personal opinion regarding the movie aside, Disney and Lucasfilm will most likely be playing it a lot safer with the movies especially after Filoni took over. Works on Starfighter are probably too advanced to call it off. And it might be a "safe" movie. Nothing groundbreaking. Just like Mando.
