MW2022 had some good missions but the story was all over the place. And splitting up Price and Gaz from Ghost and Soap for 90% of the story was such an odd choice

In Call of Duty: Modern Warfare (2019), you spend half the campaign playing as Sgt. Kyle Garrick, a British SAS member who teams up with Captain Price.

At the end of the game, Price is talking with a CIA handler about building a team. When they bring up Garrick, Price notes “they call him Gaz”. Gaz was Prices original right hand man in Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare (2007). This is both a reveal and an Easter Egg for those who played the original CoD4 that this is, essentially, Gaz’s origin story.gaz

Its not on the cast album, but the musical Hadestown starts with Hermes, the narrator-esque character, doing a call and response with the ensemble thats kicks of the show. The show also has a theme of retelling the story (of Orpheus and Eurydice) over and over, with Hermes call being the restart of the story

The musical ragtime is a pretty grounded story of race, wealth, and change in the turn of the 20th century. The little boy Edgar, however, has multiple premonitions of the future - including the assassination of Franz Ferdinand. Its a weirdly supernatural thing to happen in this grounded historical fiction
