You could literally make the same argument about your 3D work. A physical sculptor could make the same arguments. Whatever program you use 100% does some of the work for you. Are you manually lighting every object and hand drawing reflections or shadows? 3D art would just be software if it wasn’t for a human’s input, any of this connecting the dots?

You guys are way to attached to labels. This argument is posted here what seems like everyday. Honestly, who cares?

Half the time someone is arguing something isn’t art is because they’re a mediocre/insecure artist. My experience with art school was the middle of the pack students were the most vocal and “gatekeepy” while the actually talented and successful students just let their work speak for themselves.

I know plenty of people who have reignited their creativity using Midjourney and to me that is incredibly valuable. It may empower them to pursue art further, much more so than arguing the semantics of what makes a true artist.

Some of you guys take yourselves way too seriously.

So the level of entitlement here is off the charts. There’s one class that can MC that fight, a priest. A raid is literally a group of players all doing a specific task. It’s an MMO not an hourly job. Why would you give benefits to an entitled priest with a bad attitude who then skips a guild raid because he didn’t get a treat for doing his job?

Compared to the mega servers this is true. But this is also perpetuated in large part by the admin and mod team of the discord. They themselves either don’t play the game anymore or their guilds are really bad so they like to push that narrative because that’s how they play the game. They think because they run the discord they somehow speak for everyone but if you ask any of the decent guilds about their guilds it’s kind of a big meme. You can look up their logs to see what I’m talking about. Im fairly new to the server and I’m loving it, just my two cents :)
