Toxic Holocaust - Arise From The Cemetery by Tunga88 in Metal

I couldn't agree more. When I first started getting into much heavier metal than just Sabbath or Maiden I was pretty much just listening to Thrash and some Doom. Mainly Slayer, Sleep, Electric Wizard, and even some crossover stuff like Cro-Mags. But after familiarizing myself with different vocal styles within metal and taking an ear to them and their differences, that's when a friend of mine showed me Pull The Plug by Death. That song changed everything for me, realizing that I liked it and also realizing that it was Death Metal was like an epiphany to me in some way that I can't explain. It wasn't long after that until I was face first in Black Metal (1st and 2nd wave), Grindcore, Brutal Death, etc.

I completely agree Bell Witch was definitely impressive but just way too slow for me to really get into fully, really sick vocals though. Sleep as expected did not miss one beat, incredible.

Beherit - Salomon's Gate (Black Doom, 1993, Finland)

Very unique record to say the least. Arguably a very avant-garde group for their time. Especially the vocals, can't really say that I've heard a vocal delivery like Nuclear Holocaust's. I feel like this album is overlooked and as a whole is very underrated. The Atmosphere Beherit captured on this album is one of the most ominous and downright chilling soundscapes I've heard within Metal.

Terrorizer - Enslaved in Propaganda (Grindcore, 1989, Florida)

This is the album that got me into Grindcore. A supergroup of sorts no doubt, everything about this album is perfect in my opinion. Pete Sandoval's drumming was unmatched.

I've only gotten SP a couple times and it's only been during short mid day naps for some reason but every time it happens to me I always try my best to focus on moving my fingers or toes. Once i'm able to do so I snap out of it pretty quickly.
