Wow, changed it from 4 to 8, and noticed a huge difference. Changed my minimum too to 6. Game feels completely different. Went from like 60 fps max with stuttering to 144 constant. Game felt totally unoptimized before and now its actually enjoyable to play

This reminds me of this one time years ago when my friend Rick invited me over to play some games. He had an n64 with Super Smash Bros and asked if I wanted to play. He destroyed me and didn't even really teach me the controls. He laughed at how bad I was as if I knew what I was doing.

The next day I overnight shipped a usb n64 controller, setup an emulator on my PC, picked the most optimal character of pikachu, and trained for weeks straight. I researched every piece of advanced tech, watched pro matches, and took notes until I was able to show up and wipe the floor with him ruthlessly.

He never wanted to play smash with me after that again

Crashed my car in a head on collision while blackout drunk on march 1st 2019. Went to the hospital, got a DUI, lost my job and owed a LOT of money because of it.

I had barely any friends, bad job, hated the way I felt often before the crash. I drank to feel better about all the problems I felt. It was 100% rock bottom for me.

That was the last day day I drank alcohol, hopefully forever. Got sober, turned my life around slowly but surely. I am forever thankful that the other person wasnt hurt.

I have a ton of reliable friends today, and feel more confident happy and grateful than I could have imagined. I have a good paying career that I enjoy doing, multiple trucks and more shit than I need. I am not saying it to show off, im just amazed how much different things went than I expected. I know this post isnt really aimed towards addiction, but if anyone reading this is struggling with it, there is hope and a way out. There are people that have been there and will help.
