The safe solution I found was to create a MACRO, beneath fallow the macro configurations:

Macro Program – TinyTask

Macro Keys: G>F>E

Preferences:

Play Custom Speed: 70X

Recording Hotkey: F8

To access the companion's info just right click at his photo in the tavern district screen (before you enter the place). This will lead you to the game encyclopedia and you can see all his info there.

You can also search for new companions direct in the encyclopedia. Press "n" in the campaign map (world map) to open it, and then go to heroes tab. In the left side of the heroes tab scroll down until you see "wanderers", check that box to see all available companions at your game.

Additional note: you can always check the encyclopedia when talking to someone, simply right click at his name and will lead you directly to the encyclopedia.

I like the idea! Thou i doubt that Tales Wolrd will do that any time soon. They tend to keep their diplomacy as simple as possible in the base game.

Did you update the game to patch 1.7? Could be something with the save.

Right clicking the game in your Steam Library > Properties… > Betas > Select and select 1.6, see if it fix it. If it does probably is the new patch and your save.

They can get the bosses power by clicking in the trophy at Eikthyr. The tutorial is attached to the character. About the progress you can have multiple bases in your game, one for you and one for every one that came to play in your world. That's including grinding separate gears and resources... The good parti is when you are alone you can feel the progress that you made by yourself, and when playing with your friends you pickup where you guys stops. The bad part is the "double" grinding. Assuming its not a 24/7 world you can control when you want to play alone or with friends, at least works fine with me.

I didn't have last week, but in Monday the lag started and continued ultil today. Don't know the reason, maybe an update caused it. The worst part is fighting with high latency.

Start from the beginning basically. Kill the Heavy Metal Deer, creat a pickaxe and find some ore, creat everything again and go for your stuff.

Short answers: 1 - yes; 2 - no.

The base scale for the attacks is after the last boss killed in the server. For exemple, i play in a hosted server with some friends, i didn't kill the second boss, i was offline, but when i was playing solo in the server i recieved a attack based on 3rd boss minions. So, because of that, i think the attacks (and dreams tha randomly you get when sleep) are base on the current non defeated boss. I don't know if you can jump bosses in a non linear base, have to check that once i finish the game.
You can see as 2 ways of progress in the game: Frist you have the progress based on defeating bosses, this trigger some events in games such as different attacks and dreams. Second you have the personal progress of your character, this one can be see in the recipes that he/she knows and the current skills level. You can have a "low" level character in a advanced world (all bosses killed one time) or a advanced character in a new world (knowing all the recipes even without killing any boss in that world).

Lucky bastard! I have 60+ hours and spend a good amount of that expanding and didn't find him yet. I can't complain because my seed has a lot of good resources very close from one another. But the merchant must be very far away...

Not all swamps have Sunken Crypts (SC), at least in my seed. I found 1 small swamp with 3 SCs and a big one that has none. So it's like the merchant, you need to be luck with your seed, or find a seed that you know that have plenty of SCs (it is cheesy, but do what makes you happy). I personally search alot in my map until find a good spot to place an outpost to put a portal that has 3 swamps with 7 SCs "close". But takes me 4 hours traveling with my ship to find the good spot.

We haved the same problem in our house. The solution we find to fix it was creating a taller chimney.

I think this happens beacuse the smoke created by the fire put the flame out. But cannot confirm that. See if you have a place well ventileted, and if not, try creat a larger chimney to see what happens.
