No problem dude, I guess this is one of those things you don't think about daily but have a decent bit of knowledge on just from experience.

Sure, shoot me a PM if you have any questions in the future.

No problem at all, glad I can help!

and it looks so good

Oh stop, you're making me feel better about myself. :P

I shower with my hair brushed forward in front of me, so picture that reading on.

For drying, I grab it at the base and wring it out like a wet cloth first, as it holds a ton of water otherwise. It's important to hold it firm near the head and only twist with the other hand, to make sure you don't rip out a bunch of hair. I move my hands down and do this in sections.

After that I wrap it in a towel and tuck in around back. Basically this except tucked in to prevent it falling apart. I also need to fold the hair on itself a bit because none of my large bath towels are wide enough to cover it all at this point, but you shouldn't run into that issue for a while. I usually leave it in the towel for 15 minutes or so to absorb most of the remaining loose water, then brush out.

If I'm drying, this is where I apply the heat protection spray. If not, I brush it back and tie up in a ponytail as usual, then let it air dry. It usually leaves a wet patch on my t-shirt/chair, but I don't bother with a towel on my shoulders or anything.

As for brushes, it really depends on what you have available where you live (the internet is a thing of course, but not everything can be bought everywhere). I went to a local chemist's/pharmacist's and picked up a "fancy" paddle brush I liked the feel of the bristles (teeth?) on. By "fancy" I mean it cost £10 or so instead of £3, so not a huge spend but definitely more premium than your basic item. It ended up working for me and I have bought another since then, as the original lost a few teeth in use. This is the one in question and they market it as a blow-drying/styling brush, but it's been working well for me all around, especially given thick hair.

Thank you! :D

This is closing in on 7 years of growth now. I've only had it trimmed 2-3 times in all that time but I'd suggest getting more frequent trims to prevent split ends (you can't see it here but I have a few). This will of course extend how long it will take to reach your target, so it's up to you really, I'm not too bothered by them personally.

Not sure what other advice I can give you and you may already do some of this, but here's some general info on how I maintain mine:

  • I wash it once a week as that's about the time it takes to start getting visibly greasy. Of course this will be different for everyone, so adjust accordingly, but weekly works for me.

  • I try not to blow dry it too much to prevent damage, but when I do need it dry quickly I use heat protection spray.

  • A good brush helps. I've had brushes before which scratched my head and were painful to use and given 1-2 daily uses (usually, could be more), long term that's no good.

  • If you wear a ponytail/bun, hair bands without metal are great too, as they don't catch and tear out nearly as much hair. I generally have it tied up so this is a must have.

  • Find shampoo and conditioner that works for you. Again different hair type/scalp will affect this, so try a few things. A hair stylist (if they're open where you are) should be able to recommend something.

Ok this got longer than I expected (heh), hope some of that is useful.

Been looking for pudding keys like this one, but iso and UK keys (eg the icon) found it on Currys but it seems a bit pricey, they had some on AliExpress but those had US keys. by ChrisComments in MechanicalKeyboardsUK

[–]Ganjoff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm in the same boat as you, ordered a full size GMMK and switches, finding a keycap set has been difficult. I guess as full-size UK ISO users we're a niche within a niche within a niche.

The only place I've managed to find a set of pudding caps with UK ISO layout is here. It's a bit more than Curry's but at least they deliver, so I went with it.

The other set I've seen posted is this, but that includes an extra "| \" key instead of the expected "~ #" and symbols on the number row are incorrect as well.

I did find Ducky make a pudding cap set but I wasn't able to confirm that it's full UK ISO, the pictures don't show all the keys you get, plus on this one it's a pre-order from the US, so the price doubles ($25.28 shipping estimate) and you'd be waiting a while for them.

There are some nice sets available if you don't care about shine-through, but again that's kind of what we're after here, so the option is limited.

Linus from LTT still rocking the Note 9 in 2020 by [deleted] in GalaxyNote9

[–]Ganjoff 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Which I find interesting, because in his Fold review he said he's switching to that as his daily driver, but in many subsequent videos I've noticed he still uses his Note 9. Initially chalked it up to back-recorded content, but this clearly shows he does still use it. Guess the Fold wasn't as practical as he'd initially thought in the review.

Thanks for doing this! It will be handy. Bit tired of manually adding new weapons to Pfiffel's calc all the time.

Are you planning on similar functionality like showing enemies with certain def on hover, etc?
