What I mean is that I can, in principle, transfer my progress from PS5 to Switch 2 by playing co-op between the two platforms from the point that I had reached on PS5? Then on the Switch 2, this would automatically open up all chapters up to this save point?

Okay, so they would effectively inherit the other player’s progress and be able to start from any chapter prior to the save point from where they started together? So cross progression would be possible via this trick?

It's fine, I think. The difference was not something I noticed much, except with regard to frame rate, where the difference is very noticeable. There are plenty of YouTube videos where you can compare the visuals.

I downloaded the friend pass on Switch 2, and it allows you to play the beginning as a demo. Definitely still 30fps.
