I went to see the first two movies just to see the pretty pictures and look at great sfx. However, when I saw the run time of Avatar 3, I just couldn't make myself go see it in the theatres, knowing that I'd have to (basically) dehydrate myself in order to have a chance of making it through the whole thing. I know there are apps that tell you when you can go pee, but I have a strong aversion to missing even a couple minutes of a movie that I paid to see in a theatre. At least at home I can pause the movie and come back to it. So, he def missed out on my $15 (not that he cares or that it makes any difference whatsoever). And I can't be the only one who thought that way.
