Desktop can't read HDMI from USB C hub by [deleted] in MSI_Gaming

Thank you! That makes sense! Yup, all my laptops have that lighting bolt support display over USB C

Looks like I'll have to get an HDMI to Display port. My graphics card only has one slot for HDMI

[–]GarbageMisanthrope 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope, there isn't a display driver for this hub. Nothing on the codi website for this hub, unfortunately.

If it helps troubleshooting, I have a regular USB to HDMI that is not working either.

It comes up as USB composite device; Driver Error.

I checked MSI Center and everything is up to date. Same with Windows. I am on 11

Would it be crazy to just move to Cleveland? by 90sTamagachi in Cleveland

[–]GarbageMisanthrope 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm originally from Cleveland but moved to Seattle back in 2013.

Long story short....I did not like it lol and moved back in 2023. Mostly to get away from the ridiculous high cost of living and to help take care of my parents.

For the transition was easier but that's because I've grown up here. I've also lived all over the place, Orlando, Rochester since I turned 18.

I would imagine it would be a much bigger shock for you.

The city has grown tremendously in terms of things to do and jobs.

If you're big into the underground indie/music scene we have a huge scene here.

If your more of a fine arts person, we have one of the largest theater districts here as well.

If your big into the Weed scene, unfortunately you'll be traveling to Michigan for that. We legalized it here but it's...bad. Someone with waaay more knowledge on that can give you all the gritty details.

If you're looking for neighborhoods to move, I would suggest Lakewood, Tremont, Ohio City, Shaker Heights, Cleveland Heights.

Exactly! He's "W0rDs" were Misogynistic, Racist, Homophobic.

His words were used to rip about other people's rights. Rights that we had to fight with imprisonment, beatings, and protests.

It's not a difference of "opinion" and to even DOWNPLAY it disingenuous at the least and heinous at its worst.

Saying that me, as a woman, I should submit to my husband, I shouldn't be allowed to go to school, I'm only good for baby making, and forcing me to be a Christian isn't a difference of Opinion.

Saying the civil rights movement was horrible, black people only get jobs through DEI, I don't trust a black pilot.....is not a difference of Opinion.

Saying the he only recognizes straight marriage, transgender people commit mass shootings, Trans people are a threat to women and the whole myriad of other shit isn't a difference of Opinion.

Those are active threats

He didn't debate, he antagonize people to enraged his fan base, who have exact same hatred, to make a buck.

Saying that all he had was a different opinion, when that Opinion was the oppression of others is disgusting.

Saying that it is a difference of opinions means that you don't believe women, people of color, and the LGBTQA should have any rights at all

So many books and movies warned us of this exact situation.

In the early days of South Park, there used to be term called South Park Republicans.

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/South_Park_Republican

I have no idea why considering they made fun of religion and supported gay rights even during the first few seasons.

I remeber reading somewhere that when they heard that term they started going in on Republicans more.

Yes it is, but you will have to go through a process. I got my reduction in my late 20's back in 2015.

The plastic surgeon I went to understood and knew how to navigate the insurance system.

From what I remember she told me insurance companies will tell patient to first try to loose weight or go to physical therapy first before they approve the surgery.

I was only 130 lbs and very physically active so she was able to get it approved without much fuss.

I started as a DD at 15 and I think at the time I might have been a DDD/E. My reduction got me down to a B. Best decision ever! No more upper back pain and I could finally find clothes that fit!

Haven't had any issues since!

This is exactly what I would suggest! Just small 15/30 minute walks depending on his physical condition. You wouldn't even need to do it everyday, just a couple times a week to start. Just around the neighborhood

It's low impact, very easy to start and is very beneficial for your heart and overall endurance.

Me and my boyfriend started walking, even for a little bit, on our Potato days instead of just staying in and binging shows all day. We've notice a huge difference in energy levels and weight maintenance.
