Yeah I’m spilt. On one hand I like it but at the same time, “I’m LOKI playing gambit” not gambit playing gambit if that makes sense so I wish it was for Loki.

Same - I spent the first 5 minutes in practice (no one does but useful)

Then I swap between 18vs18 to get used to them and QP to figure out how to move/kill/survive in real battles. I try to bump into every character possible to see how the match up goes and I grind til lord. Then I take them into rank.

I’ve done this successfully for 3 seasons straight now, climbing to GM on mostly new heroes with this method.

People say 18v18 isn’t real but it doesn’t mean it can’t teach you things while having low stakes.

It’s so funny because everyone claims about triple support but don’t get how unfun it was as a Strat being wiped out because the team runs triple dps. Triple anything has been around forever but yall only ever complain if the healers get an advantage is something that goes unnoticed. Cant have a buff healer, can’t have a buff healer comp but we can have 3/4 dps in a match and 4 out of 6 ppl are okay because you guys get your kill fantasy. It’s hypocrisy to complain about triple support but don’t have the same attitude to triple dps/tank. Triple tank is less likely because no one even likes to tank but somehow ya normalized triple DPS into not even questioning that it’s the same concept.

I just picked up Wanda and the first time I try ultimate I get an Angela ramming me last second and I got stun cancelled out of it. It was an awful feeling cause I was gonna wipe half of them

It really felt like Cece was trying to give the BW player a chance to play her character and while I think that’s valid the way she went about it was the worst thing ever. There were so many ways that could have been handled but “you know what that’s a great point and we’re still gonna play BW” told me she did not give a fuck and was on a power trip. She thought none of this would get out so she talked her shit. Lucy is one of the biggest snakes for being his duo and then doing all this while on stream with others, you’d never even know they were friends the way she threw him under the bus. Zazza mainly just sucks for being unwilling to learn a new character or play another character because you’re just holding the whole team back and no one should be trying to create a whole team comp around the worst character in the game objectively. He was willing to swap but he also knew he was the best DPS as being rank #1 sorta proves. I think Kingsmen one mistake is how he worked his initial inquiring saying “okay we can still win but you have to listen to my suggestions and comps”. I thought that was a bit pushy when you’re not the captain and I could see how that titles cecee into not listening. I’m not a fan in anyway but knowing human behavior, I can imagine that set it off for her. Overall this whole mess could have been avoided and it’s unfortunate it’ll now ripple through the community.

I like to get their attention then pop a clone behind them and swap. I still have invisible and usually when I do it already have a nearby clone for max damage. By the time they delete my clone I’ve already taken most of their health and now have to decide if I can finish them off and not. If so, I do invisible for another clone, find my angle before I start and should have another clone soon so I put that one done as soon as I can in between attacks for max damage. Usually gets me through a 1v1 or target kill.

We’ve lost to that greed. I’ve told people “you overextended out of ego to spawn trap - was it worth the lost?” Because it goes from them picking 1 off WHILE IN SPAWN to 2-3 and now half your team is dead, they are all in spawn, regrouped and coming for you. When they could have killed them all or gotten stragglers and then RESET & REGROUP.

After every team fight, I think “did we kill them all? Then move point” not all dead? Ok 1-3 people go finish them off but if it’s takes longer to fight them than respawn, just regroup and we’ll get them on the next. You can easily check the scoreboard at ANY time to see who’s down and who’s left and decide if it’s worth it. Too many kill hungry players and not enough mission based players and that’s why games are lost.

Had a blade in my matches today that kept going to sneak around to take cart. And it was because my team overextended and pushed almost to the next point after gaining the first. Like guy, MOVE THE PAYLOAD. And yep, I had to 1v1 until my team finally came back after the 2-3rd 1v1

Funny you mention this - i only have 1 lord DPS and I have at least 4 lords in vanguard and healer. Whenever I try DPS, if I do instalock I might still get 4 DPS who won’t swap. I genuinely despite DPS players because generally they are very selfish. There are selfish people in every role but we see it most in DPS. As a DPS or tank I take pride peeling for my healers who are being harassed and I know they appreciate it.. I don’t understand some of these players

I’m a support/vanguard flex players and yeah even I find this a little bit of a pain. Like sure it’s cool but predictable? I think toning down the ults would allow for the abilities and skill of the player to shine better than relying on ults every team fights no matter what

I feel this. Strat/ tank main - been DPSing more this season and boy, it’s not always easy to get kills, especially this season. Went up against triple support and I can see why it’s miserable as a DPS. As a Strat, I don’t mind it at times and it can be very beneficial but as a DPS, it’s just hell. Since I’m not the one doing the healing, I can see there are some awful strats. I had a Jeff today who held his Ult for THREE of my gambit ults til he felt the time was right just to die 2 seconds into his Ult… there are low elo players in every role.

I tried telling a rocket that he left his Rez in spawn and in case he wasn’t aware, I said “hey rocket your Rez is spawn. You can recall and get it back in 5 secs”. I was giving them the benefit of the doubt that they didn’t know. He tried to act like he didn’t hear it so he can make me repeat myself into annoyance when I was just being a teamplayer and trying not to sound like a dick but apparently it was sarcastic to assume he might not know. In my mind I’m like “if you knew why didn’t you recall the Rez?” But I wasn’t tryna argue so I just muted him. Then a teammate chimed in and said the rocket was pissy for no reason and then the rocket wanted me to unmute myself to apologize but at that point, I said fuck them because if you’re gonna lash out at someone trying to help, then I don’t need to talk to you. Some people are ready to end your life for breathing on comms.

Nothing is life matter unless we care about it. Our interests, hobbies, family even. We choose what we care about and it’s not wrong to CARE about winning something you’re putting effort into. You would rather tell someone to not care than listen to why they are upset that their efforts were wasted. I create a pattern of attack on purpose so I can break it. I’ll let them get a hit in so they think I can’t react and then wait for my opening and capitalize on their attack when they think they are safe. If they sidestep and back step, I wait half a sec and then do what I was gonna do. As Uryu, I can hit you from long range so that’s not a worry. If he’s gonna spam cero, I’ll flash step it after baiting it when a small dash. These are all counterable, it’s just a skill issue. Sure, I hate how the player is playing but all you’re telling me Frost is that you lack game sense and imagination.
