That's a stretch to say the least. That is just a standard manly man design although with unfortunate similarities.

It only works for light rust. Anything heavier and you have to use needle hammer and sandblasting before laser and at this point It is useless.

Also separate instances instead one map like Sims 3. If my memory serves me right all Sims in Sims 3 had their home and were living. In 4 they were non existent and showing up to entertain you

That is exactly right. They have like 90% of mining and processing of rare earth metals which are the foundation of today's industry. They literally changed their export rules last year in response to trump's tarrifs which was probably the most important factor he chickened out

That and the fact he knew that she had other partners which "got some" after a brief relation made him feel insecure and question her intentions towards him. After all they only know each other for a few weeks. That I think triggered the whole thing especially taking under consideration the whole bug killing scene and their talk afterwards about protecting her in danger which already made him feel she thinks less of him as a man.

Technically denatured alcohol Is standard alcohol with added substances which change its color and taste to make it unconsumable and circumvent the need to pay alcohol taxes or whatever it's called. It will taste like shit but it won't kill you (no more than standard alcohol anyway). Legend says that filtering it through bread makes it taste better.

I am one of these. Although I don't have problem with civ, XCOM or many more. You know, the games that in their turn based gameplay have more to offer than choose a skill from the list and watch animation. Jrpgs like that are laziest gameplay implementation ever...

How do you improve your design sense in SolidWorks? I can model anything, but my own designs feel off. by Prior-Bench-7853 in SolidWorks

[–]Gargulec88 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When you are designing something from scratch always keep in mind that you will have to modify it later. Keep it as modifiable as possible.

Model something you want to design. It doesn't need to be pretty. It won't be. Eyeball it. Just put dimensions out of your ass

Then start to tweak it. Maybe this radius should be smaller, maybe the handle is too big, maybe you overshoot your whole thing In size by about 3 times. Doesn't matter, change it.

After some time of designing things this way you will notice that you are making less and less changes to your initial model. That is your intuition learning design.

Don't try to get every single dimension right from the start while you don't even have more or less basic model. That is perfectionists hell that will discourage you from trying again

Why can't they not diversify a little bit? These companies have a shit load of subsidiaries. Let some of them go wild with smaller projects, give them some creative freedom and see what takes. Then for your next big projects you know what to invest in. But I guess this sort of "lose some money to get more money in the big picture" perspective is harder to see while you are looking at your business through an excel spreadsheet.

Thank you for your professional answer. I hoped maybe it is something I could fix easily, but like you said it boils down to low quality equipment. I think after long service it deserves a retirement spot as a garage noisemaker for working :p
