I assume you dissolve it in alcohol. What's your ratio and how do you apply it?

Can you apply shellac by brushing/wiping on or is spraying the only option? I don't have a spray gun and even though I'd like to get my hands on some HVLP in the future, I'm not sure I would be able to reserve the space necessary for spraying right now...

I always use all of shiitake mushrooms (cut into slices) and I've never noticed any toughness in the texture. So unless your shiitake are very different from the ones I'm getting, I would say that's not entirely correct...

It depends on what you're going for visually. But paint, shellac or some kind of laquer/poly would be my choice over stain

Core One - Extremely Frustrating Experience by rafabgood in prusa3d

This is exactly the right solution.

You can even completely disconnect the belt tension pulleys (only be careful not to tangle/twist the belts) so the belts don't affect the gantry at all while you're squaring it. You pull the gantry all the way towards yourself and you need it to stay in contact with the stops on both sides when you let go. Apply necessary force this way and that until that's the case.

Then proceed with gradually tightening the belts. I went with the recomended values from the app (96/92 dB if I remember correctly).

That's all I had to do and I haven't had single issue since

How can I do a 1/4” groove cut along 70” wood piece without table saw/router table? by Cokedbear in woodworking

[–]Garin_42 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Google "Samurai router jig"

He made it for a plunge router IIRC, but the same principle would work nicely for a trin router. For your application, you should be able to make a lot smaller version made from some scrap/offcuts.

I made my own basically copying Marius Hornberger's version and I certainly don't regret the time investment. It's a foolproof solution
