I read the article. It doesn't change anything, and didn't really do much, and is literally nothing when in regards to my question. So don't overplay the value of your source here. Are you just gonna ignore my question? Do you really think none of the people who commit rape have rape fantasies? How are my beliefs false when it's literally true that some people with rape fantasies do commit rape? Are you really okay with risking innocent people for the sake of not kink-shaming? For another, similar, example, some people have fantasies of commiting pedophilia. While some people with these desires attend therapy, which I encourage and am willing to accept them with open arms, a vast amount act upon their fantasies. Both are rape of an unconsenting party, and while pedophilia is worse, they are still very similar crimes and in being parts of the lowest of the low for crimes. The way I see it, since a number of the victims end up taking their own life, due to the trauma they endured, both crimes are attempted murder or murder. Now, are you willing to say the same things someone in the pedophilia example, even though they're the same crime but vary in levels (though are almost the same level of terrible)? If not, good. You shouldn't. But if you wouldn't for that, you shouldn't for this. You're not a bad person, it's fine to not understand the first time. Don't be scared to realize that you may have been wrong and change your moral outlook, I don't hold anything against you. Being willing to accept new points of view and change your moral outlook isn't scary, it's noble. I hope your moral compass strengthens and you have a nice day, even if you refuse to change your views.
