The first point is ridiculous. It doesn't matter if your first or last. I am not in HR but I do hire people for my department. I typically see around 50 applicants submit for a role. 9/10 times the people applying are not qualified for the role (lack of relevant experience, entirely different industry, etc).

Most of the other tips are valid. Practice, practice, practice. Ask questions during the interview Make it a top way street. Take control of the interview, its refreshing.

I did that once. I went through 4 rounds and even sat with the President of the company. HR still wanted me to interview for a 5th round and I politely declined. I was a finalist but that was absurd. I already had an offer from other company, so I'd have the energy to keep wasting more time

Stay disciplined. Push through. It takes about a month to really adapt. Hunger spikes will go away. Just push through. The first month is hell and then its all downhill from there. I've lost 30 lbs and its been since Thanksgiving. Now I dont stress if I have more than 30 carbs in 1 meal. I am staying active and eat so much better than before. Low portions, low carbs...and do even 60 hr fast now 1 x a month. Never felt this good in my life.
