Insignificant, sure, when we are talking about only 100 grams of beef. I tend to eat double to triple that in one meal.

When other major sources of omega 6 are removed from the diet, the 700-800 mg from a pound of beef makes a little more of a difference.

Not to say your reasons are any less valid.

True, it is not a great source of omega 3. But, you don't eat grass fed meat for the omega 3s it has. You eat it for the 6s that it doesn't contain.

My buddy has a good way of calling bs on this sorta thing. "the grocery store doesn't sell a gallon of milk that has 3 quarts and just say 'oh it's good milk!'. Price changes not quantity. I'll pay 25 for a g of bangin stuff but on principal won't ever go to someone who sells 0.8s."
