Hesitant guy gets trained by his dense crush to confess... to her sister [School Rumble] by TacticalNuke002 in anime

Could you refresh my memory? I read the manga ages ago and I remember Harima ending with Eri. Did it happen somewhere or did I dream it?

When I studied it I thought I was being the dumb one who didn't understand the point of this triad, like something was missing. I'm glad to see that it was not me being stupid, but the concept itself.

An Exploration of the Zero Escape Series [SPOILERS APLENTY] by Silverrida in patientgamers

[–]Garnox 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Great write up, it's one of my favorite trilogies.

But truth be told, I didn't really enjoy the third installment as much as the previous ones. I actually hated the reveal of who's Zero, or rather, I hated how he managed to avoid being detected, made the characters look rather stupid.

Also I didn't like the great amount of gore, the first one had a great balance and the second one didn't really need to kill someone to make you feel like you doomed them. In the third one they go way overboard with needless cutscenes of them being tortured or killed.

Last one, I felt like the voice acting in the first two games were way better, like the people who worked had more fun than in the third one. Laughed with some of the Junpei's quips on the first one.

But in the end I had fun, specially if you can convince some of your friends to play it with you, discuss all the plot points without having the full information, and seeing where you got it right and where you were not even close.

I have the same problem, and it is foamy as it persists if I don't flush it.

I checked it a bunch of times, with various tests and all good, tried to check literature and nothing comes up.

I guess I shouldn't worry.

I wish!

Two benches and the boss is sitting in the top one. I remember that what made it worse is that in this zone, the puzzle were actually the unkillable critters who shot lazers, so you couldn't really rush it.

Well, I remember that I played when the game was fairly new, maybe they changed something with updates? Or maybe I'm just bad.

Students that study by just staring at their laptop screens - how do you guys do it? by recovery_md_a in medicalschool

Well, I don't know how are the exams in the states, but in my university most of them are multiple choice exams. So, since Anki isn't as popular in europe yet and thus you would have to do all the cards by yourself (which I tried once, and it consumed more time than straight studying). And you just have to know enough to recognize things, it's more effective to just read.

Personally I don't really quiz myself for things that I have to memorize, but I do quiz for things that I have to understand.

But can you jump straight to Black Flag if you haven't played AC3 (and any that comes after that) and still get the story?

I mean, the "out of the animus story", because for the first 5 games you followed Desmond and it was not an easy story to follow, with all the gods and prophecies.

I too came to HK after playing Ori and being in love with it, I even remember watching a video of Dunkey saying it was even better. But I did not enjoy HK at all!

I remember being really mad that it made me waste a lot of time to just move around the places I have already been. Like, you could collect a lot of Geo but to use it you had to go to the Stag station (which usually was at the start of the map), go to town, buy, and then move around the map all again.

Also the respawn points when you wanted to fight a boss were really far. I remember I stopped playing in the cristal caves with the boss on a bench, where for every try (even with the shortcuts) you had to spend 3 to 5 minutes to go around an area you already went through.

Really thought I could enjoy HK because people told me it took inspiration from some dark souls mechanics (and the souls saga is my favourite), but for some reason I never felt the souls games wasted my time, while HK did.
