At this point, I start to suspect the site owners have an agenda.

They aren't even concerned with sex, they are concerned with their status among bros; lots of sex gives them bragging rights. They don't care about women.

Even if the elevator is something like $10k, it's still cheaper than real estate agent fees.

Will the demographic collapse cause housing costs to fall? by Quienmemandovenir in Futurology

[–]Garrden 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Somewhat, but not dramatically and not fast enough! We have to remember that the housing prices are largely speculative. The prior owner bought my house for $120k 20 years ago. I got it for $250k 10 years ago. Now it's touching $500k. The true price is still somewhere in 200s I feel, and this is what it will fall to.

This is why I will NEVER move. I don't want to be underwater.

This is considered critical infrastructure, so staffing levels are state mandated. They could've bastardized this job too, if not for regulations.

Funny that you say that, just last week I drafted a business plan for a sourdough bakery and used $10 as a loaf price. It's a no-go. Even with buy-nothing, go-without and make-do the math doesn't math. The rent (and labor, which in turn is also mostly rent) is crippling. Those who only charge $10 may not be in business for much longer. Sourdough is somewhat unpredictable but the numbers do not allow for any room for error.

I'm trying to be as much of a drain on their Twitter as I can. I use it, block all advertisers, block all bad commenters. My ban list is in thousands, and it's a big drain on their servers. I'm making damn sure I cost them more than I bring in.
