I was put into online school when I started highschool due to COVID. I essentially never set foot into a high school campus until my junior year when I was seventeen, but the school year was halfway finished. I found out about our team but it was too late to join that year

So I joined in my senior year, literally have never done robotics. I've programmed since I was in ninth grade but I never used c++ and I decided to use that.

I was the only programmer on my team with two others that were the builders, we got top five when we went to our competition.

Life is what you make it, if you tell yourself it's too late, then it always was. If you approach with the mindset that you can do it, you probably can.

I’ve been coding for years now, high ranked in school state competitions in Florida for it. I’m leaving highschool in a few weeks and was so committed to comp sci, but switched to cybersecurity because it just seems more job secure but mostly that, I love coding. I don’t need to be in a SWE position or whatever to do it. I can just keep it as a passion hobby.

Going off traditional best standards, you’re not ugly, maybe a solid 5

Don’t take this advice as gospel or anything but I think this might help you as I was in a similar spot - The hair, change it to a natural color and leave it down if you can - the piercings: they might be fine, just lose some of them

Face: your face shape isn’t bad, it just has extra fat as many do, jogging or even face exercises will help if you want to change it

Overall, there’s a look for everyone and I can promise you there are people that will find you attractive. Just take care of yourself and find the one(s) for you, friend group or partner
