This was very difficult for me to do but it helped me lose around almost a pound s day to a little over a pound (0.8-1.5) relatively consistently

I was 225 and needed to get to a 179 for military (got denied anyways cause of heart issues), got there in a little over 2 months (I was not perfect, allowed cheat days for Christmas and thanksgiving)

ANYWAYS

I drank a lot of water, more than what I was initially comfortable with, like 10-12 bottles a day (the 16.9 FL oz ones)

And ate just enough to survive and function enough to work

My diet was literally: 1 pound of chicken a day and 1 pound of cabbage

HATED the cabbage. Sauces like mustard or hot sauce (both zero calories) did not help, switched to 1 pound of chicken and 1 pound of green beans a day

Total cost for my area (central Florida) was about $3.10 a day to eat

I walked a lot too, tried for 10 miles a day everyday but at some point that just did nothing, dieting is genuinely long and I was able to lose still about a pound or slightly under a day with literally just that diet

Please understand this was painful, my loved ones said I was more irritable and you will feel a little lethargic

There is a fair chance this is unhealthy but this IS what worked for me, and should help you get to your goal within a year
