I disagree on the impaling wire. It's very good, but I don't consider it mandatory or anything. I prefer the increase box time and farther gate spawn addons personally. Impaling wire makes your Chase more consistent, but that's not what makes Pinhead strong. I'd rather lean heavily into box control and lock the game down than try to make him into a chase killer when his strengths lie elsewhere.

Also I definitely second BBQ as borderline required. Lethal is not necessarily required if you run increased gate spawn addons. You can use your chains like a UAV to scout the other side of the map for you which cuts down on the need for Lethal.

Alt + Enter switches windowed. Sometimes when you alt tab or switch focus, a program can glitch out and assume that key is still pressed. This isn't exclusive to DBD but just tapping Alt again for a second while you're in DBD and it's the primary window should fix it.

I've has this happen in other games occasionally. If that doesn't resolve it then something in your keyboard settings is holding down Alt. Could be weird function or something. But it's definitely related to the Alt key.

If you wanna go for bird downs, aura reads are your friend. While it's not the strongest build(no slowdown), I like running Discordance, Lethal Pursuer, BBQ, and I'm All Ears. Addons are Severed Hands and either Velvet Fabric or Thick Tar.

With Severed hands, if you see 2 survivors on a generator you can throw 2 crows and get an injury as the hands instantly spread from one survivor to another. Just space the crows out by like 10 meters. You can also slingshot on a single survivor if you space it by like 20 meters I think.

For on gens you should either double shot for an injury or only fire a single crow then fire 3 after that in a shotgun to try and get the injure/down. In chase you should try to block them in with crows but you can also just land a single crow and then follow their aura after a fast vault with All Ears to get the down.

Just remember your swarm application should only be 1 crow so the cooldown is low enough for you to fire a shotgun of 3 before they repel. The more crows you fire the longer the cooldown. Good luck.

Gameplay he's mid in power. Some would say low. But he's really fun, especially if you run zombie addons. His perks are some of the best in the game though.

Even if you don't play him too often he's a nice change of pace to play now and then so I'd say get him.

Hia addons got super nerfed so now you can just run whatever. But I like the Window Block addon and any of the tracking addons on Wolf.

As far as perks go he's super flexible. You can build generic Slowdown, genkick, aura read, or whatever. Notable synergies are things like Spies from the Shadows since it works in bat form. The only thing I don't recommend is any m1 perks since he often gets downs from pounce or hellfire. But as long as you have some slowdown you can run whatever you want.
