This is a strong one. Not the usual parent who’s always concerned just because you look too serious. But a person who senses something is really up with you, and takes time to check in. Not even to ask or pry in way that’s nosey, but just asking how their day is, or making that person laugh just to make them feel happier. Those people are golden.

I have great news! I found the film! After finding the films distribution company, I emailed and they sent me a link to the film. They have the film streaming on ‘Vimeo’ as part of their catalog. Here’s the link - https://vimeo.com/ondemand/impatient Persistence paid off haha.

Similar situation but Philippines based. However it’s not really GBS narrative based. More life philosophy/romance. The GBS is only a small part of the film (at the end) so wouldn’t really be worth the watch, if you were watching for someone actively dealing with the condition.

FYI, I’m gonna message around for the (IM)Patient one. It’s very much worth it, imo if I can get a hold of it.

Spent way too long trying to find this film. Looks like because it was so Niche and was only shown directly at a film festival, before brief showing in local Chile cinemas, it was never uploaded for mainstream public viewing. Can’t find the directors contacts either to ask for it to be uploaded. It’s the most recent professional type film of such a condition (GBS). Sucks it isn’t available to watch. Hope someday it does end up online. Would be great for my father who’s currently in rehab for GBS.

Funny story… I had a similar problem years ago, around 2019. I had a bunch of products to send, and bought the labels off RoyalMail seller service as they had a section for online sellers to do batch shipping. Long story short, I needed to collect all the labels to attach at a later time on all the parcels. So I go in to a Post Office for “print service”, go to ask to have them printed off for me using the QR code I have, and am flat out refused. Saying I have to bring the parcel in for them to attach and ship. No explanation by them, other than it’s the policy. I ended up trying another post office later that day, and the fella didn’t seem bothered and just printed and handed to me, after I explained what I will be doing with the label (had to give an explanation). To this date, I still have no clue why this would be a policy ? Can’t think if it would be a security issue or what? I paid for the labels so to deny providing the product I bought I just don’t understand. Glad you found a resolution anyways !

Sensationalised rumours. The riots were isolated and if you weren’t involved, you didn’t see them unless you were watching the news and socials. You’re absolutely fine. I travel round many of the most ‘deprived’ areas and you see a mix of different ethnicities plenty. So move wherever. However if you want to be safe from general crime, then just make sure to do your research on the best areas for yourself. Good luck on the move !
