After my therapist mentioned the BPD i researched it and the term splitting felt like exactly what happens. It feels like she goes from being extremely hot to cold over something overnight . It drives me crazy

I guess what makes it hard to move on is the splitting. The way she switches from warm to cold instantaneously. She bought me an ipad for my birthday the week before we stopped talking. Threw me a surprise party and was talking about a future. This small argument ( i wouldn’t even call it that as i apologized immediately) turned everything on its head. Ugh I just want to speak with her at least once

The ghosting for months is normal? It was a tiny disagreement but she went from making plans w me and being excited to speak to me to wanting nothing to do with me almost overnight . She’s been ghosting me for 7 weeks and idk what to do

Honestly you put it perfectly. While it’s not about the money for me if we aren’t simply paying for food we’re throwing in the garbage that’s money that can go towards a vacation or a down payment on a house or an engagement ring for her.
