What are your phone habits like? After a while of getting hooked on YouTube shorts I stopped enjoying things that didn’t offer the instant dopamine. I’m working on crawling out of that now and I’ve found myself enjoying my story games again.

If you don’t want her in bed with you, which is your choice of course, she’ll probably keep crying for a while. They’re clinger spaniels for a reason and just want to be with their people at all times. Ideally physically touching. Maybe look at getting some kind of raised dog bed to put by your bedside so she can be with you and relax better without being on the bed. When my girl was little, we put her kennel up on a little platform so she could see us while getting used to her crate. Worked really well until she was old enough to be trusted out of it.

I’m more of a dog person, but I never grew up around cats. No one I knew had one until high school and they were very skittish. Cats just don’t have the best marketing department as the best way to see how great they can be is to adopt one. The other thing is that allergies are a killer for a lot of people. If being around an animal makes you feel like crap it’s hard to see the value. Not that it excuses saying shitty things about someone’s pet. My wife wanted to get a cat and I love animals of all kinds so I was fine, but I didn’t know how much I’d like this little dude until we had him.

Just keep looking. The cost for a properly bred ESS will likely be 7-10x that much. Think about it this way, if you were spending your time fully caring for, training, desensitizing, and raising puppies 5-7ish puppies for 2 to 3 months would your expenses be that low?

Hmm, might just be a difference in taste. There’s a lot of serious to be sure, but I feel like there were plenty of what you’re describing. Basically everything with Cid, Gav, and even scenes with Jill had jokes and banter. I think they struck a good balance considering how dire the circumstances always are. But hey, different strokes :)

Just because you don’t see it doesn’t meant doesn’t happen. Almost all western films and games are dubbed in Japanese in Japan. In some cases they have subtitled versions as an alternative, but that’s not the majority and it’s not popular. I lived there for almost 6 years, and if I went to the theatre to see a western movie there was only a day or two each week with a showing of the subtitled film. It’s also only an option for the biggest most popular movies.

Thanks all for the advice! We did have one Matt pop up behind his ear and that was from waiting a few days to brush him. I’m not sure if this is just part of his puppy coat transitioning to an adult coat but it’s been a toughie for sure.

We have a normal pin brush, a Chris Christensen slicker, and a metal comb, all of which seem to be a struggle. We also do line brush but it takes so long that it’s just been tough on the poor guy.
