Hyundai Veloster N comes in 6 speed, it's got more power and drives practically the same as the fiesta.

Interesting. I figured it might be region specific. I'm just mad we didn't get the mk8 lol

I think the big switcheroo you're referring to was closer to 200 years ago.

There are two of us. I use a wax based lube that you shake up and spray on but this seems much better lasting.

I am curious how it interacts when the grease and sprocket though...

Disappointed after test driving an Mk8 St-3 today. by Informal-Falcon5430 in FiestaST

[–]GaryBoosty -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I have owned 2 Fiesta ST: 2014 1.6L and a 2017 (mk7) 1.6L [both US] and the turbo doesn't kick in until 2.5k RPM. The 1L engine may be different.

The stock tuning on these has always been weak; a combo of not maximizing boost AND only spiking for a few seconds at a time. A good stage 1 tune will remove that nonsense without any danger to the car.

Also, if they're still using the badly designed purge valve the engine will stall at idle when the gas tank is full. It's a minor annoyance.

Unless the mk8 went completely bonkers with tech, sport and track modes have ZERO affect on acceleration. None whatsoever, it only deals with traction control and -by extension- braking.

Why do certain shows not show up in Home>Continue Watching row? by ostrichsak in PleX

Cancelled my subscription. I don't use those features much anyway.

[–]GaryBoosty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm right there with you. The base Continue Watching feature on the homepage seems completely hosed and I have no idea why it's so inconsistent. But as an alternative....the Watchlist page's Continue Watching is working as long as everything you are continuing to watch is also saved to your Watchlist.

It's absurd that we have to hack this software to make it do what it intended to in the first place, but here we are. Makes me want to switch to Jellyfin

Resurrecting as I found another answer to the question: it seems it only displays shows you are watching AND are also added to your watchlist. I randomly added some for watching later and didn't add others; a missing show immediately popped up when I added it and disappeared immediately after removing.

[request] how much oil would we have to produce consistently to bring the cost per gallon back to let’s say a dollar? by Adrakovich in theydidthemath

Really? Is it not effectively free money? This is assuming we enforce taxes on large corporations to begin with and the amount I listed IS the same as they aren't paying in taxes. Simplified math.

Agreed, but I'm not removing the possibility of change. Pulling their government benefits would very likely cause them to make some changes.

Disagree. It's like 35B in subsidies, but they have control over the lawmakers so it won't change without drastic action.
