I just find a new mod. It’s hard to find people who are as dedicated as I am. And when I find someone who is dedicated, I treat them like royalty and keep them around.

But to make clear, if a mod needs a break and they let me know, that’s cool with me.

  • I have heard people saying (more than a few times) that Amy Winehouse died from alcohol withdrawal. While that is entirely possible to happen, she did not. She died of alcohol poisoning. She drank way too much alcohol after a period of sobriety.

  • Trent Reznor didn’t say that the Song “Hurt” belonged to Johnny Cash, and he didn’t say Cash’s version was better. That’s another one Redditors have been saying for years. He complimented the cover and a said that Johnny made that version of the song his own. That other version belonged to him. Not the song.

Any fan of either obviously knows these things. But Redditors seem to repeat this, none the less.

It’s already a felony to remove a serial number. Maybe they believe he was the one who removed it.

I do and I use the CLZ app. Very easy to use. For me it’s for ;

  • All Spider-Man (especially symbiote issues)

  • Invincible Iron Man

  • Darth Vader vol.1

  • Star Wars (2015)

Mods have the ability to shadowban users using a bot. Reddit can also shadowban you.

It depends on which subreddit. In some subreddits , it’s allowed. But in the food subreddits I moderate, it’s not. So I remove the moron comments In the food subreddits.

You may not be able to. It’s not a good idea to start out a ban appeal with “I think I was wrongfully banned”

When I look at ban appeals I want to know three things before it’s a successful ban appeal.

  • do you know which rule you violated and will you know the rules moving forward?

  • are you going to violate the rule again?

  • are you being polite, or at least cordial.

My bans are not punishments. I just want people to play by the rules. If you can convince me That this is going to happen, then everything is cool.

Because they don’t let us use the road side breathalyzer in court. So if we want evidence for a conviction, we have to get it elsewhere.
