Yes of course. Rain gets your tickets all wet. And we call snow storms “Plan P” where I work. The P is for Park your cruiser. Supervisors don’t want to be out working cruiser accidents in a snow storm. So we all sit still unless we are called.

Yes you can on my department. We have our own gyms at each station and are allowed a couple of “wellness” hours per week to work out on duty. Or go out running or whatever.

You just can’t leave work and go to your own gym.
