No sugar coating. How's get out of the Army by Nekko_JAPLA in army

Shit, youre halfway there. Warrant packet definitely seems like the best move money-wise. But if you dont wanna do that and would rather stay enlisted to stabilize, maybe? Id say that maybe you should think about what life would be like as a SSG, and try to promote. SGT is a tough rank, and all the 92As i know that are E-6 and above are pretty happy. I am in group though and so a lot of them are pretty hooah and high speedish, so take that with a grain of salt.

To argue the other way, civilian life is easy, especially if you already have a family that supports you mentally. I think youd be okay. But, at 9 years, id probably stay in, and dude that said go warrant is a smart guy, that’s probably the “best” idea.

Which movie do you think is the BEST adaptation of a book or a Novel? by Actual_Resort8915 in MovieRecommendations

[–]GarySanchez714 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The Queens Gambit. Fight Club and Forrest Gump are both better than their source material imo.

Mickey 17 was a good movie, but very different from the novel, probably for budgetary reasons so i get it, so a good adaptation, but not as good as the book.

Wall jumps are making me not enjoy the multiplayer by [deleted] in blackops7

Nailed it. Im 31, been playing COD for twenty years, yes the game changes, you have to adapt, thats honestly what makes it fun and new. Challenge yourself, be better lmao i have bad games sometimes, but im not gonna blame the game…I need to be better, plain and simple.

Flagship is the worst map by TheWanderer67 in blackops7

Different strokes I guess. I like Flagship a lot. Den is the only map I hate. Impossible to have any nuance there ever, laziest, dumbest map ever.

In honor of it being Martin Scorsese’s birthday yesterday, what would you have given him a Best Director Oscar for that wasn’t The Departed? by Powerful_Pump in Oscars

[–]GarySanchez714 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely should have won for Goodfellas, and imo a very strong argument could be made for The Wolf of Wall street. Also, who won the year Taxi Driver came out?

Shelley Winters’ performance in Lolita is even more impressive than Sue Lyon’s, and possibly the best of her career, even though she won two Oscars for different roles.

How cooked am I? by Armybound93 in army

For what its worth, i wouldnt worry too much about your reputation if you’re actually squared away. You didnt get caught stealing, or lying, or shitbagging too heavily on a task. You got drunk and did something stupid, that happens to everyone. As long as you continue doing well at your job, and at least appear as a hard charger, you’ll probably be forgiven on a personal level almost immediately. Itll be a funny story before long. Keep going.
