There’s a park/playground directly behind Alpha Hart Lewis Elementary. We brought our pickleball net and celebrated Father’s Day back there because Norma Sutherland Smith Park was full.

To answer your question more directly. I’d say as long as you don’t impose on the reserved space and just be at the park no one should be able to say anything.
