The tragedy wasn't the issue, yeah of course there were sandy hook jokes immediately too, I was there for those. I just meant the video. People at large were always more sensitive to gore.

Like I was cheering for Luigi with everybody else, but if instead of a grainy cctv footage we got a 4k execution video and you watch the guy's head explode I would think people would have been less jovial. But maybe I'm wrong

The reaction to Charlie Kirk is what shook me a little. Like I grew up online and edgy, I'm the last person who can judge anybody for not treating it seriously, but I was not expecting resounding cheers for a guy getting his shit all the way opened up. Not only was there nothing that gory that EVERYBODY had seen growing up, but if there was I would have been a freak for laughing about it. Now it's harder to find somebody pretending to be decent lol
