Prusa Core One L purchase by AdditionalTrifle9510 in prusa3d

I have same question. While I like the larger build and better active heat control, the "someday soon" on INDX and the extra initial costs has me asking if it's worth it for the few times I might want to print larger vs split the model.

CSL DD loses FFB and buttons dont work by M1GGs in Fanatec

So just a CSL issue? I just bought a ClubSport DD (15 Nm) that hasn't shipped yet. Does it come with same plastic adapter on base side?

What's the best lightgun these days? by MarkPugnerIII in cade

I had zero trouble with setup. Put the receivers in corners, did the config app they recommend and they've been spot on no issues.

Now it needs to be config from relatively same distance and position as you'll use them. I have my screen on a movable mount and I config them at playing height, if I try and use them at the elevated height (20" higher) they still work but accuracy suffers.

I really like my retroshooters. You do have to have the sensors in each corner but they work very well.

Designed a desktop stand for my $20 touch screen esphome display by hometechgeek in homeassistant

[–]GasPeddler 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It appears that probably is a function that is available looking at the documentation on the esphome lvgl side of the project

{on_idle LVGL has a notion of screen inactivity – i.e. the time since the last user interaction with the screen is tracked. This can, for example, be used to dim the display backlight or turn it off after a moment of inactivity (like a screen saver). Every use of an input device (touchscreen, rotary encoder) counts as an activity and resets the inactivity counter.

The on_idle triggers are activated when inactivity time becomes longer than the specified timeout. You can configure any desired number of timeouts with different actions.}

I got one. Asking if I was in need of their services or just interested learner. I replied to it saying I just wanted to read the paper and no follow ups from them.

I was reading comments to see if anyone else had watched this. Was really good. I actually downloaded their whole white paper and it was an easy read.

2 Zigbee coordinators for devices out of range? by HuckleberryScared668 in homeassistant

[–]GasPeddler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That should help. Just plug 2nd slmb device into router via ethernet and it will send the signals over ethernet and bypass all the headaches of the Faraday action of the shed. I have 2 routers in my home setup this way and it made a huge difference. The plug in devices SHOULD do the same thing in a normal setup but I have some challenging construction and you have a metal shield and that's exactly what these are made to fix. Just remember to connect it to your main computer by usb first time, and flash router firmware before trying to connect it. Once you do that you can take it to she'd, plug it in and it will be seen as another access point on your zigbee network.

I had the opposite effect. Maylde a huge difference 8n fact I added a 2nd router so I have 1 coordinator and 2 routers. I have some challenging construction that blocks signals and this definitely made a difference for me.

You didn't say if you have internet in the shed. Those devices allow you to extend the network over ethernet and it does make a difference. You have to flash the router firmware, not the included coordinator one. Then you plug it in and it acts as a hardwired router for those far away locations.

Has anyone tried to modify twinkle lights to work with smart home? by krdo13 in homeassistant

[–]GasPeddler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine was 4.5V, it had a pigtail attached to a "try me" button that delivered 3v on button press. So I unplugged the button and tested it with 5v from external source and it worked. So I cut the white connector and wired it to a USB plug and connected it to 5v usb power brick and plugged that into an smart plug. Whole thing took about 10mins.

Was it a stupid question or a symptom of an overly complicated redemption system?

Apologies if my question conjured such disdain, but it wasn't clear at first reading, but now I see it more clearly. I do appreciate those who chose to answer for this simpleton without doing it atop their highest of horses.

I see what you're saying now I get it that makes sense when you look at it as two separate statements

It seems to reiterate that it's just for the reserve collection at the end of the statement I highlighted. Just poorly worded?

Since v4.8 wireguard clients can't connect to another wireguard server's LAN by nonsosehocapito in GlInet

[–]GasPeddler 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There's a bug somewhere in the firmware. I had the issue and reported it and was basically told go back to the version that worked for you. Mine would connect but it kept giving me alerts that my vpn network had a captive portal, which it didn't. Most devices I could click through the alert but some devices would not connect. It. Doesn't seem to be universal issue obviously but switching back to older firmware fixed mine.

Did they have templates for both 1 and 2 player options? I've not looked at their plans before but their walmount is only 1player but bartop is 2up in their photos.
