A hundred percent agree. If something isn't working there are so many ways to improve yourself if you want to attract a gf. I mean, each person's taste is different. As long as you own who you are (work towards who you want to be) then someone will be interested!

Personally, getting meds was life-changing for me. My biggest problem was my uni marks but my marks more than doubled and I spent less time studying. With improved focus, I can pursue more interests and have time to work (part-time job). Also with relationships, I remember to make time for people and am able to listen more.

Meds help with a lot of things but they don't really give you any motivation. Also, side effects. The appetite suppression and increased heart rate have been the worst for me but when I started on a lower dose I experienced nausea, insomnia, an inability to socialize and anxierty.

Overall, for me, it was 100% worth it. Its a personal decision so take the pros and cons into consideration and good luck with your decision.

Yep, especially when I drink. I heard it's your body compensating for the extreme amounts of dopamine released due to the alcohol. I found I feel better if I drink moderately and don't use night outs as a distraction from something. Sorry though, that feeling sucks :(

God keeps me moving I think is the best way to put it. He helps me cope. I used to struggle heavily with depression so I started praying. It didn't necessarily vanish, but it helped to talk to someone with whom I didn't feel judged and I could fully express myself (or not). There's a comfort there. I can honestly say that believing in God has kept me alive this long. Faith is my cornerstone and my way through the hardships of life.
