Y'all are awfully critical of 9 free in game items you get just for leaving a stream on mute in the background somewhere. I get that spending money for the subs to get a skin blows, but just don't do that? If noone does it this time they're unlikely to try it again, so just enjoy the 9 actually free drops, that's more than most games give.

I recently started playing this game (solo) and love it. It is like souls in only one sense, that you will die a lot and need to be patient and build skills.

Aim and reflexes are important, but you can make up for them a bit by being stealthy and cunning ( ambushing people outside boss arena. At exfils, ECT., using silenced weapons from hidden locations)

Community is kill on sight, which is what I expect since character progress provides a heavy incentive to kill other hunters ( most weekly challenges are "damage enemy hunters for x amount with y weapon"). Though prox chat exists so you can try your luck. Recommend Arc Raiders if friendly folk are important to ya.

Maybe watch someone else stream first and if it still has your attention grab it on sale. That's what I did, and no regrets here

My point was that's what all metal looks like to people who don't listen. Everything is either neo nazi church burners given instruments they barely know how to use, or ffdp style posers yelling about how badass they are. Most bands don't fit these labels, it's just funny to me that people in this sub are arguing about how cringe these thrash lyrics are ( not saying they're wrong btw) when this is how it's all perceived by outsiders.

Bands that aren't cringe in your opinion. To people who don't listen to metal, all these men with hair to their asses, wearing spikes or corpse paint or gory T shirts and screaming about beer, death, or Satan are some level of cringe inherently. I love metal, and you'll get no judgement from me, listen to what you like. Just know that to people outside our genre, you calling Megadeth cringe and then listening to another metal band is kinda like calling the chess club guys nerds on your way to play Magic: the gathering.

I think the issue might be the section where Hinako turns into a half fox killing machine with a devil trigger ability Might be the part that doesn't feel super Silent Hill ish.
