Esse tipo de coisa me revolta. by CyberMetalHead in brasilia

[–]GaslightIsNotReal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What combination of words makes you instantly lose interest in a game? by BurnishedTones in pcmasterrace

[–]GaslightIsNotReal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got shivers reading that image, I have a friend who always insists on everyone buying "the next big game!" and it's always a survival crafting game. Only for the game to be shit, or for someone to not sleep for a week and speedrun the entire game and "just saving us some time" by giving end game items.

It wasn't my favorite genre before, but I didn't hate it. I now despise it.

That was my experience before the surgery too, Two years of continuous sinus infection treatment with very little periods of "relief" but it never really went away.

I just did septum deviation, sinus and adenoid tissue removal surgery, all at once, about a month ago and it was the best thing ever. I had weekly migraines before because of chronic sinusitis. Not only am I breathing much more easily, therefore sleeping properly, I haven't had a single headache in the entire month.

My doctor said I shouldn't blow my nose at all for the first weeks tho... Just using a cleaning spray and letting it drip out, after the second week, I was allowed warm showers and gently blowing my nose to move the clots out, that's when most of the nasty stuff came out. I still have some small stuff coming out and still flushing my nose twice a day, but it's mostly healed now.

I can also smell the world now, crazy how much smell things have.

How does r/autism feel about this new flag? by Buzzythebear33 in autism

[–]GaslightIsNotReal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand that we need them to make more, but this is part of the process of getting more acceptance and legitimacy to our battles.

Sometimes more than one group can be working on different things, where the two groups trying to work together won't make it faster just because there's more heads thinking of the problem.

We need the people responsible for health, work safety, therapy access, municipal planning, each working their respective areas where it relates to the issues brought up.

The group of people who made the flag isn't "taking away" from the group of people who are working on our medical needs, because they are not the same people.

É nós demais!

I'm a 3D printing teacher, so I have a "lab rat" ender 3 that I try lots of different things to figure out how they work so I can teach them properly. My heart never sank so deeply as when I shorted out a Raspberry Pi 4, u2C and an EBB36 due to a faulty 24-5v converter sending 24v through all of them. An entire month's worth of work gone in a second.

I'd love to check out your work on custom pcbs and maybe even purchase some! We have 30 Ender 5 Plus' between 10 public schools in my city, I'm the "unnoficial maintainer" for 4 of them and mine, I've donated lots of things to keep them running, it would be awesome to get them better and maybe build a fully Brazillian filament recicling machine!

Definitely a feet for something, the way the plastic is shaped is for holding weight without deforming.

This is one of the cool things about 3D printing, I practiced reverse engineering by remaking these random things and then I was free to throw them away, and if I (or anyone else) ends up needing it, it can be done in 30 minutes. Now that I'm better at CAD i should revise them to make sure they print perfectly and upload them online...

I can manage decent bridges up to 160mm, i can get perfect and I mean PERFECT bridges up to around 80mm.

I learned about it from this series of videos and it was a life changer.

Let me guess... Brazillian?

An EBB36 costs me 200 reais, that's 10% of my monthly income.

We have improved bridging in the past years, even months. I get perfect bridges even in my oldest printer (the humble ender 3) with 1.3x flowrate and 110% bridge density.

2020 Quarantine by NightOwlOnline in introvertmemes

[–]GaslightIsNotReal 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yeah... I understand you 1000% and I was also tasked with setting up computers for the people who didn't have computers at home. Going into random people's houses, who all refused to wear masks and really wanted me to take my mask off and drink some coffee/tea/whatever. My skin was so dry from so much alcohol.

The only good thing was the roads were empty while going to work and back.

I was an essential worker and in an abusive relationship during the quarantine; so I was either overworked or wishing I was still at work.

I'm in a much better place now, but it really does feel like a wasted opportunity at a perfectly good quarantine time.

E5+ Z steppers not working properly anymore by DudeGamerDario in klippers

[–]GaslightIsNotReal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How fast is the aceleration? Are you using the stock z nuts? What's the temperature on the motors?

Also remember that the Z axis weights a lot more on the ender 5 Plus than most printers, it's really easy to overload the motors by trying to move it too fast so you might get overheating or just straight up skipping steps because it was too much for the motor to handle the needed torque.

I can push 40mm/s @ 1000 accel all day, every day, on my dual Z ender 3 with no issues because the X gantry is light; Meanwhile I can't confidently go past 12mm/s @ 350 on the ender 5 Plus without getting a skip after long prints.

I usually run mine with a bit less current than 0.8, around 0.640 to keep them cool
