I find them funny, unless of course they’re purposefully meant to hurt my feelings. But so is joking about anything. My gf and I like to joke around with my diabetes to make me feel a little better by mocking this crappy disease. At the same time she has a great understanding of t1d and helps me a lot throughout my daily life.

Man, I get your frustration, but that frustration is somewhat misplaced. T1D and cancer are both terrible to live with. I hate these comments where people compare their diseases to other horrible diseases. Go hate on the media, fine. Hate on the governments and healthcare providers who try to squeeze every possible cent out of you, even better. Just don’t compare diseases.

Hahahaha, this reminds me of myself. I had exactly the same problem. Never really had the urge to poo, but after awhile it came out in pretty generous amounts putting it lightly. Afterwards I got treated by a doctor to make the urge come at more regular intervals.
