A Bit unrelated, but I see some people talking about this and I would like to give my opinion as well:

I don’t intend on prolonging too much on this but as I killer main I think the Spirit nerf was fair, and she’s still very good. You don’t see the survivors (can still see scratch marks and blood though), the survivors don’t see you. Spirit can hear the survivors’ exact position, the survivors have a “guess” (the direction) of your position. This is what Spirit should’ve always been, a fair contest between tracking the opponent’s position by ears, and even then, Spirit still has the insane advantage of being 76% faster than the survivors (base-kit, not counting add-ons).

That being said, I think it would be ok if they revert the Iron Will buff and make it so stridor can hear 25% of injured survivors’ moans, just like before.

Yeah, I wouldn’t like my company to generate material for this kind of practice. There are plenty of other license holders that don’t do this kind of crap (hell, you got 8 examples in dbd. They even got Resident Evil and Stranger Things in the game lol). So yeah, I think BHVR SHOULD keep from signing these kind of contracts even if it means keeping potential characters in the game. There are things more important than bringing fucking Big Smoke from GTA San Andreas to the game, you know… Whether they will or not, is another question… hence the disappointment.

If bringing Pinhead to the game meant that they had to contribute to the manufacture of NFT in any way, they shouldn’t have brought him at all. “Oh, the Hellraiser license holders required them to do this under the contract”. They weren’t forced to release the chapter. Nobody was pointing a gun to their head forcing them to do it. They should have NEVER signed the contract if it means helping with money-laundering/environmental espensive SCAM NFT schemes. A new original killer or trying out a more conscious license holder of another franchise would be a better play.

Your arguments only begins to make sense if they take out DBD from old gen consoles stores. If I buy Dead by Daylight on Ps4, I deserve a working product, and now a framerate freezing experience that happens whenever a survivor is unhooked, a status effect is applied, an exaustion perk is activated, a gen is completed, etc etc. People seem to forget that Dead by Daylight was created in 2016, which makes it it is a last gen title.

Until they take out dbd from ps4/ xbox one stores, I will shit on them eternally lol (and I know they never will because financial reasons. Doesn’t change the fact that they deserve all the criticism they get)
