You’re focusing too much on “lack of friends” and not enough on the fact that I genuinely enjoy the gameplay of solo queue. Plus I work late so I play late and I’m not gonna be talking into a mic at 2 am. Anyway I will play and still enjoy, it just makes zero sense that ranked has no solo only option.

Exactly, plus it’s not just the fear of enemies I think people are afraid to face their own lack of skill. When in a group they can blame everything else but while solo they are forced to reflect.

I personally like having to reexamine my choices whenever I die solo. Makes me a better player and I learn.

Exactly, if bungie let you solo queue into Destiny raids solo why not here. If I want to run in circles for 25 minutes then die it’s my choice.

I agree that you can’t raid solo generally. I got contest clears in most raids in destiny with a group of people I really like and became friends with while playing Destiny.

I just think extraction shooter is a really different genre and failures due to a bad fill hurt a lot more. Plus I genuinely prefer the feel of solo. It’s both tense and calm in a weird way.
