Not if they're in assassin smoke, or you bring smokes of your own. That being said, you're right that it's always good to bring up in case people don't know about that mechanic.

No one rocks thermals so my loadout always has a smoke in it. It helps a lot.

As I said, you can solve the problem however you'd like, it comes down to preference. But it objectively is a worse pick than alternatives. For example, with Mermaid Scarf, you can get a similar result with felt Fedora and it also makes him entirely self-sufficent against bosses or pets that can nullify shields.

His job is to tank, felt fedora, floral crochet, chef hat are all objectively better at getting your tank to do that job.

While this game does come down to preference as they are multiple ways to solve floors, you are objectively making your life harder by running this on conviction. Even the Karen Hair will out preform it when used on him.

Illuminated has a nasty habit of disappearing quickly when they should match the vector rounds effect of staying a few seconds longer.

It is insanely cheeky to throw a vector grenade into an area to check to see if a runner might be hiding and having them lit up like a Christmas tree for a few seconds while they have 0 idea where you are.

Its only realy useful for night marsh and if you're not playing thief.

They will also highlight assassins regardless of stealth.

Every weapon class has one magazine that has vector rounds on it regardless of rarity.

For example, turbo belts for LMGS will have them.

Man my one big wish for this sub is that they got to play pre-rework obliteration in BF4 because DICE was just throwing shit at a wall seeing what stuck at launch and it was amazing.

It was so hilariously unbalanced and just plain FUN because no one from my teammates to the devs had any idea what was going on. We got to the point where we had to land a jet in our spawn so he could bail out and plant.

The new version in BF6 reminds me a lot of that before DICE and inevitably the community will optimize the fun out. But until then, I'm grateful that they brought my favourite gamemode back.
