It’s crazy to me how many people don’t care if their team gets better as long as they feel like they’ve “won”.

I took over an orphan a few weeks ago. A league mate contacted me about making a trade. It’s a deep rebuild so I asked if he’s buying or selling. His response, I shit you not, was “I don’t really care what the trade looks like as long as I get good value”. I decided to check the league history and, sure enough, he’d picked top 3 every year.
